Culduthel Vista Apartment

This apartment was perfect for us, had everything we needed including an assigned parking bay. Whilst in a residential building/complex it was very quiet. The outlook from the living and main bedroom is the nature strip. There was plenty of hot water.

Nothing really, would recommend leaving instructions for using the heating. Lucky one us knew how to use it. Nothing the host can control but the outside appearance is not good, bikes in long grass, ashtray and used coffee mugs on the ledge near the lock box. Then there is a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the stairwell.

Easy access to downtown via bus, apartment was roomy.

Front door lock is difficult to open, alightly annoying

Not a lot. The whole place has a run down appearance.

Difficulty in finding the apartment, no very obvious number and no number on the kerb for parking. The outside door and the dirty smelling stair way was a shock and if we could have gone some where else we would have. The locks were difficult to use and did not give a feeling of security. On entering the living area the glass topped table was very dirty. Not good first impressions. The apartment contained all that was necessary, but some updating and cleaning could make an improvement. The shower has mould all around it. It was nice and warm throughout the apartment

Neighbours were too noisy

This apartment is in a beautiful, quiet location just on the outskirts of town. It is very warm and comfortable and fully equipped, just like your own home. I can honestly say that we wanted for nothing during our stay.

As has been said, the communal stairway isn't the best kept but there is nothing the hosts can do about this. The only other thing is that the bathroom could do with a good deep clean. It isn't dirty per say, just has accumulated limescale/soap scum in the nooks and crannies of the shower. Sorry, I'm just a bit of a clean freak! It probabaly wont even be noticed by most people.

Quiet and close to the city center.

Location to city centre was great

We had a bit of a poblem with a power outage due to a faulty kettle but it was rectified quickly

If Smart TV with Netflix and Prime Video could have been included, it would have been fabulous. The satellite TV does not have much choices.
