Flatzy - Charming Garden Annexe in Aigburth with Kitchenette

Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed we had everything we needed for our stay including extra touches such as, tea, coffee, orange juice and crossiants for breakfast.The hosts were informative and kept us informed if we needed to ask again.The room was lovely and cosy and we would recommend to family and friends if they were visiting Liverpool.We came to from Newcastle to visit our friends for the weekend and we will definitely return to stay here.

Excellent use of space, great value for money and perfectly located for us to attend a hospital appointment at the Spire. Friendly owner introduced himself. Good communication and quick refund of security deposit.

Located within walking distance to Sefton and Otterspool parks. 7 mins walk to basic shops as a little further to local restaurants.A longer walk or short taxi ride to the busy restaurant and bar area of Lark Lane. The flat itself is small but comfortable and clean . It has an area to make tea and coffee, both are provided, a microwave and a small twin hob is there if needed. A drop down table and stools are also near the ' kitchenette' The bathroom is compact and fully stocked, shower pressure is ok and the water is hot. The bed takes up most of the room, which isn't a problem unless you have mobility issues. The mattress and pillows are ( in my opinion) in need of replacement, the mattress has a foam memory topper which provided no benefit, the. Pillows are budget and have lost all shape and again are pretty redundant . The duvet had ' pancaked as ' my visit was in December during a pretty hard cold spell it didn't provide that much thermal retention. The room is heated by 2 electric wall heaters which were switched on for my arrival. I tend to sleep with a window open and no heating , as there is no openable window within the main body of the bedroom save the patio doors , and the small window in the bathroom. This could be a problem in the summer also as air is not easily refreshed unless you switch on the bathroom light to activate the fan which is quite loud. I was conflicted as wether to leave the heating on when I left the property for the day, I opted to turning it down to low and closing the curtains which covered the large patio door again a small tweak could be put in place during winter by replacing the lightweight curtains with thermal heavier ones which will help to retain the heat in the room. All in all a quiet and useful space at a good price , convenient location and well kept. I didn't have any contact with the host.

Good privacy, very quite, easy check-in/check-out, not far from the train station.

The bed is really too soft.

Compact Annexe with great facilities. Has everything you need except a kitchen implement to extract eggs from Frying pan.. Great location.
