MCL Majorelle Appartement

el dueño es muy atento y dispuesto a ayudar .El apartamento está muy limpio. Cama muy cómoda. Cerca de la medina caminando. Tiene un cajero para sacar dinero justo al lado del portal y un carrefour bastante cerca. Una cafetería nada màs salir del portal

Todo bien pero por decir algo comento que es un poco ruidoso debido a la gran avenida a la que da , que es muy transitada y se oye el ruido del tráfico pero se descansa bien

Fabulous apartment, in Guilez, the new area, but located less than half a kilometre from the main Medina gate. It's on a main road, but high up so sound is less, and transport is easy. There is a good supermarket within 5 minutes walk and everything is for your comfort in this place. Sofa is gorgeous, there is a table and chairs for dining and in my case writing, and 24 hour security man and helpful people around at all times. Has a balcony and airing rail for drying clothes, there is a washing machine with good short cycles. Bedroom is wonderful and cosy with lots of extra covers. I will stay here again in Marrakech.

Rien, tout est parfait.

Great location, walking distance to the medina and plenty to experience in the neighborhood of Gueliz. A block away from Jardin Majorelle and half a block from Hammam Essalama. Staff was punctual and easy going. The apartment was very cozy on the fourth floor, elevator access. Having the terrace is nice for street watching. Noise level was fine when closing down for the night. Fast internet and all you would expect.

There was some occasional noise from an apartment above TV video games, but really not a big deal (I'm quite sensitive to noise). No significant complaints

WiFi didn’t work most of the time despite another rooter was given.Bedsheets not fresh and clean, cutlery kept in a plastic basket. Bathroom dusty and dirty, balcony door not closing properly. One of the dining chairs broken,mismatch cups and glasses. Poor value for money,lack of care and attention.Towels still wet on arrival.

We stayed for a week at MCL majorelle. The location was superb and the best thing about the apartment! 10 min walk to old town and busy Guillez district. Also very close to carrefour, jardin majorelle and some lovely affordable restaurants. There is a bank machine right at the entrance which was very handy. Ali the owner was quick to respond to any questions we had via WhatsApp. The washing machine in the apartment and various English channels were great to have as well. A few heavy blankets were provided and very useful during our stay in December.

We have stayed in numerous similar rentals in various countries and felt there should have been more attention to detail and basic necessities should have been provided that would have made staying here easier. For example there wasn't any washing up liquid for dishes, the doors to the shower had soap stains all over them, bar soap in the bathroom was old, used and very dirty looking, no hair dryer provided, no bin bags, no drain stopper in kitchen sink, mold in two places of the shower, hot water for a shower only worked for roughly 5-10(if lucky) minutes at a time and the water tank for a shower took ages to refill n heat. There were no basics like tea/coffee/sugar or salt/pepper etc. Only 1 and a half rolls of toilet paper were provided while staying for a week. The bathroom smelled strongly of cigarette smoke the entire time due to someone in a nearby apartment smoking. The bed was quite hard and we had to use several blankets on top of the mattress to make it comfortable. In both the lounge and bedroom the door to the balcony and window in the bedroom do not close properly so there is always a draft coming in. The lights in the hallway do not turn on so it's best to use a light from your phone or from the elevator to open the door with a key. Checkout was between 12-12:30 and we had msgd Ali saying we will check out at 12:30. He had said to leave the key with the cleaning lady at 12. Then the cleaning lady showed up at 11:40am and we were forced to checkout early when our flight was later in the day. This place has the potential to be a great property, but just needs some attention to detail first.
