Vista Paradiso

The view from the balcony is incredible, very beautiful. Appartement is nice and clean. Great swimming pool at the appartement complex (to be shared with the residents of the other approx. 7 appartements). During our stay there was nobody there the first days and we had the swimming pool to ourselves. The house has 3 sun loungers and a parasol. The host Giovanni is very friendly and responds very fast on WhatsApp. Bed sheets and towels can be made available. The lake and the island (Monte Isola) are highly recommended for a visit!

To reach the garage at the appartement is not so easy. Steep streets and sharp turns. Keep in mind the appartement is situated halfway the mountain and to get to the lake, a restaurant or store you will have to take a hairpin road for about 10 minutes down (or up) the hill. Appartement and the balcony are not very big, looked bigger in the pictures. Still enough space for 2 adults and 2 children. Direct surrounding is not so well suited for walking/hiking, no road expect for the passing road also used by cars, motors and bikes. Tip: There could be a larger side table and/or cupboard in the house for more storage space. And the outside chairs for pool use (the green ones) could do with replacing.

Without doubt the view is magnificent!! We love Lago Iseo following our first visit. The host's YouTube video on how to get there was very helpful and he was very responsive. Technical facilities like Wi-Fi, TV and access codes worked really well. Quality of the interior is quite OK.

General equipment of the flat is very sparse - specifically the kitchen utensils and bathroom necessities (towels and toilet paper). Bedroom and beds in the mezzanine floor with a steep and narrow wooden staircase - difficult to access - even empty handed. Many steps from the parking area to the flat made offloading (of a very) full car strenuous. Access to the flat in general - road, parking and garage not for the faint hearted - even in a midsize SUV

The view is extraordinary, that's for sure. The heating worked perfectly and made the flat comfortable at cold and rainy days. The furniture is mostly in a fair condition, but not luxury. There are new white sunloungers on the pool. We had no issue finding the house (thanks to the Video) or driving the streets to the house. Those are normal Italien streets.

The beds are very soft, which is not to our liking. We had a barking dog at the house over the flat during every hour of the day. Without the dog it would have been quiet, but that's not the landlords fault.

The view was amazing. Clean apartment and very comfortable.

On the ad it says the "heated pool" Is open from the 15th April 2023. We went from the 28th of April to the 1st if May. When i queried how to turn it on I was told it doesn't go on until the 1st of May and takes a week to heat up properly. We cancelled a different apartment because of that. Also... its classed as a 2 bed apartment. The kids room is the landing up the stairs and the double room is walk through it. If it was me. I would put the kids into the back room and parents on the landing. If anyone ever got into the apartment.
