Seasons Break Apartment Pereybere

Nous avons aimé son emplacement à quelque part de la plage de sa ville animée et de ses restaurants et à 20 minutes à pied de Grand Baie nous avons également aimé l'appartement très spacieux et très grand

Il manque une marmite à riz indispensable pour les Réunionnais les matelas ne sont pas confortables

Large spacious ground floor apartment with all amenities. Clean , secure and neat. Comfy couches and lovely outdoor area too. Showers had good pressure and a/c working good.

The main bedroom mattress and pillows were too soft for us. Also the bed is very low and could do with being replaced.

We like the quietness, location, peacefull whiach was what we were looking for. A few minutes drive to La Crosette Mall with all types of shops and restaurants. Within distance of other attractive spots.

1. We struggle to locate the place.. We hired a vehicle from the airport and despite we were fiven the location via google map it did not help. We arrived late in Grand Bay and finding the location was a nightmare ast it is not properly defined on google map. It was getting late in the night and furtunatley we called the contact person of the place he guided us through whatsapp video. Before that we contacted another person of Seasons Break for direction but she was unable to do so. They could have just tell us to drive into Grand Bay and look out for a sign on the wall by the roadside on the right that reads "MANZU" , You take that road straight for a few meters and until you see the "BAPTIST COMMUNITY CHURCH" then turn left and continue and season break is the end in a corner. Seasons Break does not appear on google map. However Farine Lane does and on google map Season Break is located in Cap Malheareux not Grand Bay. Something must be updated. 2. There was nobody to welcome us and isntead the person guiding us on whatsapp told us to collect the appartment keys on a cooking gas bottle outsing the apartment! 3. We noticed that the rooms and other spots in the apartment were not cleaned, especially in the coners, window sills, the bathroom, spider wibe in coners of the bathrooms, painting peeling off in the bathroom, long grass outside close to the swimming pool. Until our departure we have not seen the owner or manager! 4. With the keys set of the apartment there is a remote control for the gate. There are two gates one in front and one at the back. Unfortunateley the remote works for the gate at the back but in the front it is manual you have to push and pull manually. 5. An official signage to easily identify the location of the place is missing.

Large modern space. Nice pool. Met all of our needs

Shower was scorching hot. Quite a lot of ants in the kitchen. WiFi was slow

Location was great. Stayed here for 10 days/nights. 5min walk to the beach and this was with elderly parents/family friends who stayed with us. Perfect for a family or group of friends. Probably a 3min walk if younger at a quicker pace. Apartment was great which suited our needs. Neighbourhood was very safe at all times and felt secure walking at night or early morning swims to the beach before sunrise. Apartment had all mod cons. Pool was lovely to swim in, didn’t make use of the outdoor BBQ but nice knowing it was an alternative option to cook on for cooking fish or food outside. 2 lovely cafes nearby for breakfast/brunch. Highly recommend Island babe which has amazing fresh juices and super healthy breakfasts, a real winner. 2nd option nearby was also Bloom also had nice brunch options but me and the wife preferred Island babe returning here several times each morning. Pereybere beach was one of our favourites on the island having swam in majority of beaches. Mont Choissy beach also was a lovely white sandy beach nice to swim in also which was a 15min drive away. Cap Malheureux is a quick 5 min drive down the main road, a hidden gem of a food stall behind the church where you can choose freshly caught fish for lunch and they cook it for you and serve it to you depending what you select. Options for meat also. No veggie option though. Grand Baie was a 7min drive if you needed more shops/restaurants, La Croisette shopping mall which has Nando’s FYI, as options. Nearby you have Winners supermarket which was a 5-7min walk which has everything you need from a supermarket, get there early for the options for fresh bread. Everything else is readily available. Salim, Saad and Isabelle were always helpful, before I even arrived they kept communication lines open welcoming us prior to the trip as well as on arrival to ensure we had directions. If needed they can also arrange direct transfers to and from airport if required.

Kitchen equipment - For future guests, please provide tin opener for canned food. ie I bought local Spam and corned beef, and had to open without tin opener which wasn’t the easier way to get it done. AC in en-suite bedroom needs fixing/suped up to cool the room (more freon maybe??) even though at its lowest temperature it was just blowing air like a fan.
