Litoral Mar Beside the Beach

The area and place was beautiful, but your photo of the advisement of this place is deceiving it’s not a rental of the photo house , the complex building is in nice area close walk to the beach. Everything about the stay was lovely just had issues with “Ants” when we arrived instructions getting into the door getting in but all and all I would recommend this place. And I’d recommend highly the restaurant like 3miles down road called “Urban Grill”.

The Apartment is located right next to the beach. You can even see the sea when you lean from the balcony. The Apartment is modern l, well equipped with everything needed and was very clean. The Staff helped us out via booking app whenever we had a question. We can highly recommend doing the hike over to Alvor. It is stunning.

While the Area where the Apartment is located is next to the beach with plenty of restaurants around, it lacks other infrastructure like Supermarkets as the whole area only seems to be developed for tourists.

It was at the perfect location

We needed something in this specific location for 3 weeks while we were closing on our apartment, so it was perfect for us. The location is excellent, right across from the beach boardwalk and an easy walk into Praia do Rocha. There are a few restaurants walking distance and a small, nice market next door with all the basics. Praia do Vau can be walked to easily as well so it is really perfect for a couple who wants a very nice apartment in Portimao in a quieter area. Just outside of the tourist area but easy walking to everything. The hosts were responsive, the maid service was Excellent! This is about as good as it gets for an apartment rental. Off season rates are Very good!

The apartment supplies in a lot of items you might need during your holiday at the beach. After we cleaned it a bit we ended up enjoying it very much due to the nice balcony, the easy access to the beach, the carpark and the kitchen / laundry facilities.

We had quite some difficulty getting into the apartment and the carpark and the communication with the host was in Portugese. The house was clean, the kitchen wasn’t. The beds are fine but the pillow was awful. The ocean view was in the far corner of the balcony. There where a lot of minor things that weren’t completely working/complete or clean. My advise would be to do a large maintenance check on all items. That would certainly improve the overall quality.

The Appartment was really dirty. There was hair everywhere. Mold in the bathroom. The floor was sticky. Dirty utensils in the kitchen. The Appartment looks different than on the pictures. I wanted to Check Out directly because I did not feel comfortable. I did not get a refund for any of the nights. The staff there was not helpful at all. I did Not even want to sit down because is was just disgusting even after cleaning it a second time.
