Compact but well appointed apartment. Small balcony but it was nice to be ale to sit outside in the breeze. Comfy sofa, gas stove top but no oven. Portugos is not one of the touristy villages but is in a good position to visit those easily with the added advantage that is cheaper and quiet. Very hot - no aircon but our host gave us a fan which was great. One restaurant in the village, a small grocery shop and a diary in easy walking distance. Easy parking close by.

Getting access to the apartment was a bit tricky. My phone would not connect with the number given so I used the booking.com messaging and finally got a response and set up a time. A lock box system would streamline this. We used the time while waiting to have lunch just up the road. When Maria came she was very welcoming. Main problem was the wifi. Couldn't connect at all to begin with, but Maria reset the router and it worked. However it was very weak - no reception in the bedroom and balcony and fluctuating in the lounge. May need to look at getting a booster.

It was a quiet location, as it was out os season most of the restaurants and shops were closed.

It was very cold in an appartment (cca. 16 °C), but the owners just showed us extra blankets...

Very nice and welcoming host. Great apartment that had everything we needed. Super smooth check in and check out!

not much could have been better, maybe the wifi connection, which didn't reach into the apartment.
