Hopstays Vilamoura All In - Marina View Apartment

• Great location! • Beautiful view from the balcony. • Spacious enough for four people. • Some good amenities. • Clean apartment. • Brilliant value for money.

• We were given an incorrect key code and were therefore locked out of the apartment gone midnight, a local shouted at us because we were hanging around and tried to shoo us away. • The “help-line” hung up several times and one told us we were in the wrong location (we weren’t). • There was no welcome pack and the Wi-Fi password in the book was incorrect. • No oven. • Curtains are very thin and let in all of the sunlight. • Can be noisy BUT that should be expected booking a marina apartment 🩷. • Only one key.

The location of the apartment was exceptional! It was only a few minutes walk from the marina and a variety of bars, restaurants and cafés. The Hopstays were really helpful with checking in and even met us when we arrived at the apartment to ensure our check in went smoothly!

The location was excellent and the apartment was quite spacious.

We had problems locating the property as we were not provided with the correct address. After contacting the agent, we were then able to find our apartment. The apartment was quite grimy and could benefit from an intensive clean. The blind on the bedroom window didn’t keep the street lights out and made it difficult to sleep, maybe should be changed for curtains. The table on the balcony and the balcony were quite dirty. In the guest book it states that water, wine and snacks would be provided but we only received a bottle of water.

The property is very good value for money. it is what it is in the pictures. Central location straight onto the marina with marina views. Great little welcome pack - which includes a bottle of wine and very welcoming hosts.

There is no air con (which isn’t advertised so we weren’t expecting it) but it would be a good addition as it’s very warm at night. We came at the end of September and I can’t imagine how warm it would be in the height of summer. Also, the bins are right outside the bedroom window and bars and restaurants empty the bottles into the bin at all times of night. They are then collected at 6am - every morning. Even with the windows closed it’s still very noisy and doesn’t seem to be a quick process! I appreciate the bin placement and bottles aren’t the hosts fault, but any longer than a weekend stay and it would likely bother you.

The property hosts were extremely friendly and ease to reach out and assist. The apartment was clean and resourceful. You won't find a better location, right over the Vilamoura Marina for restaurants, cafes, shops or just a walk by the boats. The beach is around 400 metres, which was great for our kids. We even had a parasol and chair for the beach. Bedding and towels were provided, and changed for fresh ones in the middle of our stay.

The bedroom faces the parking lot, were the bins are located. So you get regular noise from all the Marina restaurants dumping bottles and rubish. The Marina closeness is amazing but on the other hand you do get a bit of noise and music from the bars, but if you close the windows you won't hear it unless you are a very very light sleeper (it didn't bother as, even our kids slept like rocks).
