Rauno is an excellent host who went out of his way to make sure we had a fantastic stay

If you are lucky enough to have this apartment available in your termin, I definitely recommend you rent it. It is in a quiet location, yet close to everything. It is beautifully and modernly furnished and has a sauna. And it is very big. The owner is very nice and caring, he helped us with great tips and made our stay in Rovaniemi even better. You can contact him at any time. Really, this is a pure 10! Yes, we miss this place very much!

Everything was perfect!

Comfortable apartment in an excellent location (a few hundred meters from the center). The owner, Rauno, is certainly an added value: always available and attentive, he carefully organized our excursions, making our holiday unforgettable! We will be back in the summer!

Everything! Lovely apartment, good location, cosy, q lot of spaces, warm (what is needed). Rauno, the host, gave to us a lot of tips and helped us. It was really good tips 🫶🏻 I am planning back to Finland and 100% I will book with him again.

Lovely location, well appointed and with a great sauna to relax in. Plenty of space. Easy parking. Easy instructions to follow. Ground floor so easy access. Very helpful host.

Only things I could think of that could be improved upon would be to have a couple of indoor stools and some more crockery to allow up to 6 to dine.

I visited Rovaniemi in late Nov for a 5-day short stay. Riverside Apartment Rovaniemi is definitely a gift for me during my visit! I love the convenient location, well-maintained facilities, great sauna, and beautiful river view within just a 2-minute walk. But what most impressed me is the warm host, and also this amazing city. The host shared a lot of very useful suggestions before our arrival, which helped a lot. Also, he was so kind to take us to the city centre and introduced the history, culture and environment of the city. You can cook and live as a local person in this amazing and lovely apartment. I will surely visit Rovaniemi and the Riverside Apartment again!

My mind was blown with the amount of information I was given before and after I arrived in Rovaniemi from my Host's Rauno & Sini making my stay 100% stress free as I was travelling solo. My main ambition was to see the Northern Lights and because Rauno is a GENUINE LIGHT HUNTER he could tell me that it would NOT be possible for me to see the lights on my dates saving me a lot of money. *Always check with Finnish people before booking any tours. My apartment was very cosy and warm. Fully equipped for cooking light meals. Walking to the city will take 10 minutes or if you prefer a beautiful river side walk it will take 15/20 minutes but so worth it. Can not rate this accommodation & Host's high enough.
