Purlins Holiday Apartment

The location was perfect. The apartment was so classy! Nicola thought of every little detail to make life comfortable and convenient. This is the best hotel/apartment I’ve ever stayed in.

I can’t find a single fault. It was perfect.

Nicola, our host, could not have been more hospitable. We loved the apartment which has to be seen to be believed . We were amazed by the provisions which Nicola had provided for us. There were; strawberries and cream , croissants, bread, milk, eggs bacon, butter, baked beans , cans of soup, orange juice, a variety of cereals, shortbread, cans of gin and tonic, bottles of lemonade, bottles of beer, a bottle of wine in ice, chocolates and sweets. Towels can be changed anytime you wish. The kitchen is well-equipped. There is a wide range of toiletries even including perfume and after-shave. Nicola has really high standards and this is obvious in every room. Salisbury is a lovely city and Purlins is right in the heart of it. On other visits we have had trouble parking but the private parking made life so easy. We will definitely stay again.

Nicola had been generous and very thoughtful with supply of getting started food and drink items. This continued with array of toiletry items for the forgetful! The location was excellent for the historic sites, shopping and an easy walk from the railway station.

Having stayed at many types of accomodation on both business and pleasure, I was keen to see if this accomodation could justify its reviews. That curiosity was answered as soon as I entered the property. The property was stunning and had bundles of character and it was immaculately clean and tidy throughout. The location was perfect, as you were in the centre of the city and had great views from the living room, watching the world go by. The kitchen was beautiful and well equipped with many appliances. And the property had the bonus of a terrace area, which is ideal to enjoy a glass of wine. The Purlines Holiday Aparment is a world class accomodation in itself, but what separates this one out from the pack is Nicola's attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of the property has been "well thought out", so the guests have a memorable stay. A worthy 10 and the first one I have given, as I am normally hard to please!

I cannot fault the property. It did what it said on the can. And we were made to feel very welcome and at home. We will definitely be visiting the property again.

Everything!. , Nicola was very attentive. The accomodation was clean, central, and homely. We just loved sitting in the window watching the world go by!. The location was perfect , we were in Salisbury to visit family so we could walk everywhere, and all shopping facilities were on the doorstep. The Cathedral close was right next door, easily visible from the apartment and lovely to stroll around. Nicola even provided a starter set of foods upon arrival so we didn't have to rush out to the shops immediately, and there were plenty of little touches all over the home, which really went above and beyond. We loved our stay ...we weren't technically tourists but felt very much looked after by our host who made us feel quite pampered!.

So perfect! Beautiful apartment, impeccably clean, excellently equipped both in the kitchen and in the rooms, plenty of toys for the children, excellent location near the cathedral and the city center, awesome sitting area by the window to the street and a nice patio which we didn't get to use a lot because of the rain, everything was very comfortable. The proprietor is extremely nice and thoughtful, took into account the tiniest details in the house, including a very generous amount of treats and groceries for breakfast according to our individual dietary restrictions which she enquired for before our arrival, answers questions thorough booking messages very fast and was very nice to talk to in person :) Parking is around the corner, a little tight entry but managable. Salisbury is a very good base for day tours. The only negative were the steep staircases, a bit worrisome if you have toddlers like we do. To sum it up - just perfect! When we visit Salisbury again, this is the place we would want to stay at.

The first impression upon our arrival was overwhelming. One of the nicest apartments we have booked so far. It was well equipped and very quiet despite the central location. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a great location in the heart of Salisbury, about 100m from the Cathedral. There were a few restaurants and shops nearby. Salisbury itself is very central, sights like Stonehenge or cities like Bath, Bournemouth and Winchester were very easy to reach. We traveled by car, the apartment has a parking space. This was our final stay on a 2 week holiday to England. This property was by far the best managed and kept of our entire stay. From check in to check out, everything was impeccable. The kitchen was well stocked and included numerous items to help make the stay pleasant. It was so nice not to arrive and immediately search for breakfast items for the following day. Cold bottles of cider and a local bitter also helped welcome us. The location for Salisbury and surrounds was incredible. Merely a block away from the cathedral and right on High St. (without being too noisy). Very close to the Market Square as well for the weekend market. We used Salisbury as a base for day tripping to Bath by train (very convenient to train station), Wilton House, Dorset coast, and Stourhead Gardens. The living area was incredibly comfortable with a large bay window for people watching! Parking was convenient. I cannot say enough about our host Nicola (Thanks again if you read this). It was obvious that she sincerely cares and wants you enjoy both her property and Salisbury. I would stay here again without hesitation and recommend that anyone staying in Salisbury do the same.
