Salisbury Old Mill House

Maggie is very attentive to everything, you will have Good time for sure. The apartment is very cute and well equipped. From the windows you can see the garden and the hills.

A fine array of fruits, cereals, bread, butter, milk and all condiments were available.

Unfortunately the summer had been exceedingly dry and left the mill water race dry.

Beautiful view from the apartment, well kept grounds to enjoy, on the doorstep of public footpaths and hillside walks, close to pubs restaurants. Very generous and caring hostess.

Maggie is a lovely host. We had the most amazing stay. The garden is lovely and the location is convenient. Our second day we ordered takeout and she brought it up to us. Our fridge was stocked with goodies when we arrived which was lovely too. We will be back again!

We liked everything about our stay, the location, the weather and the host Maggie, she was so friendly and helpful. Everything you needed to stay at the property was supplied.

For us visiting family, this is perfect. We had a most wonderful stay, excellent thoughtful hosts, and very well-appointed comfortable cottage, with relaxing, peaceful views, to unwind your day or start of your day... perfect. Look forward to our next stay.

There was nothing to dislike . Maggie was generous and caring . The apartment was spotless . The grounds and view were so peaceful . A big garden that we could enjoy after a long day sightseeing and to eat in our dinner in was a lovely surprise . The location was perfect and we were able to travel each day in many directions without any trouble . The village of Wilton and town of Salisbury are full of pubs , restaurants and shops and delightful markets . We definitely will return to The old Mill house in the future . Highly recommend it .

We loved every minute at Maggie’s place. It’s a cozy, elegant home with stunning lake views and plenty of wildlife—deer, swans, and birds galore! Maggie was a wonderful, welcoming host and looked after us so well. We really appreciated the thoughtful and generous welcome package. Immaculately clean, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated—a peaceful retreat we’d happily return to.
