ALMARKAB Riad

I wish I could give 10000000000 stars to this stay experience. The the apartment is stylish, well-maintained, big, and cosy. Breakfast was delicious and in huge portions which make us always skip lunch. Mr. Fawzy is a caring, kind and intelligent person. Everyone should be thankful to have him and his riad in Marrakesh. Thanks for everything, Mr. Fawzy! highlight-there was cat which meow like “hello” and “hi”. if you are lucky u can hear it.

Fawzi (pronounced Fowzi, ow as in owl) is an exceptionally switched-on, helpful and considerate host - one of the very best I've had. He speaks excellent English, among numerous other languages. He's very knowledgable, thoughtful, and well-connected locally. And he's a good guy! Unlike in most riads, you can actually open some windows and get some fresh air and see the sky. The apartment has most things you'll need, and Fawzi will do his best to make you comfortable. Not a criticism, but people with mobility issues would find the stairs difficult. The ascent to the rooftop is excessively exciting the first few times, but great when you get there! :)

Totally out of Fawzi's control - or anyone's, it seems - are the motorbikes in the medina (and souk and kasbah). Most are merely annoying, some are suicidal, some are homicidal. This really detracts from the amenity of the district and - unless curbed by the authorities - could soon make the Marrakech medina a place to be avoided altogether. That would be a real shame.

Fawzy is an amazing host, he is very friendly and willing to give any kind of advice you need. The apartment is very comfortable and there is everything you need.

Absolutely morrocan style apartment,what i was looking for!Fawzy is the best host i ever had!amazing atmosphere and breakfast!location is great,but the most of everything is Fawzy,who helped me and went even with us to traditional Hammam to experienced that!Thank you for driving us around Marrakesh!i will definitely visit again this fabulous place ALMARKAB RIAD!Highly recommend you!

Everything was great!

The house was a piece of art! Fawzy was an excellent host and was always willing to help us with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely come back to Fawzy's beautiful place if we visited Marrakech again!

Everything - the originality of the apartment, the terrace, comfort of the bed, location and the host Fawsy - a truly genuine person who helped us with from being picked up, to sorting out pick ups for trips, telling us about Morocco - nothing was too much
