Mason Lofts at West End

We felt very safe and secure and had great parking. It was a great location and very clean. Beds were comfy.

Upstairs the loft and bedroom do not have ceiling fans so was a bit stuffy even with it's own thermostat up there. The loft and bedroom can sleep between 6 to 8 but be prepared to share one bathroom with a shower up there. This bathroom isn't in the bedroom however so you'll walk past the sleeping folks in the loft to use the bathroom. I was asked to pay a 40.00 deposit after the booking. Just be aware of that.

It was a nice design

Never got the free rental bikes that were with our stay, neighbors were so noisy and got woken up super early and left early due to the noise.

Location was great for us, near Vanderbilt university and very close to the distilleries, downtown, and river.

Bathroom supplies were a bit light (toilet paper, watered down shampoo/hand soap), need a car for easy commuting to town.

Could have been a tad bit cleaner. We found hair in two of the beds on the loft area.

I liked the modern touches and the cleanliness. It wasn't fancy but it was nice. It felt comfortable. Next time I would book a unit with a patio. That was the only thing I'd change on my next stay. I like to sit outside with my coffee.

Our sink was a bit stopped up. But otherwise it was in good condition.

Pleasant location, nicely appointed. Quiet.

Parking space very difficult to enter/exit. Queen bedroom tub drained very, very slowly. The baseboards were dirty. There was a typo about a code that was sent to me. I had to PROVE to whomever I communicated with, that it was so. Why would I lie about such a thing? In my first review, I noted dirty, dusty baseboards, and again, the person who responded argued that they weren’t. Why would I make that up?? Prior to stay, communication was excellent. If I were the owner or manager, I’d want to be told about any problems. The defensiveness was uncalled for and off putting.
