Red Cliff Lodge Groot Marico

Juliet met us at the property and introduced us to the property, facilities, and activities. The lodge was spotless with attention to even the smallest detail. And she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. There was champagne for our anniversary, complimentary tea, filter coffee and rusks, and beautifully arranged towels and chocolate on the beds. We couldn't have asked for more. The cold wallow-tub was perfect for a hot day and the hammocks under the trees made for the best afternoon snooze, lulled by the Piet-my-vrou's and other abundant birdlife. The only sounds you hear are the birds, the wind through the trees, and the river cascading over the rocks. You can take forest walks along the river, swim in the rock pools, hike the area, picnic or braai at your private riverside picnic spot and so much more! For a peaceful and romantic getaway, I highly recommend Red Cliff.

Communication skills from the host were expectfional her hospitality was amazing. We loved every detail in the cottage. The nature itself was breathtaking. My partner and i enjoyed ourselves. The host gives precise ddirections however we choose to use the shorter distance, and the road is bad, but our host was kind enough to give us a manageable route to use.

Absolutely amazing stay at Red Cliff Lodge. The location, facilities, the hosts extra attention to detail all make for the perfect remote getaway. Loved not having any network or wifi. Amazed at how much space is allocated to you and you alone, you have no choice but to relax and unwind. We loved our New Years Eve weekend away at this cabin.

The cabin is a little bit cramped but for just 2 people we didn't have an issue with this.
