Beechwood Holiday Apartments

1. The property is centrally located in Mussoorie between Mall Road and Library Road. 2. The view from the Master Bedroom and Drawing-Dining Area is excellent - the entire Doon Valley is visible from there. 3. There is a common Yard/ Terrace Area with offers comfortable sitting with the same great view. 4. The food is managed by a separate person running and independent kitchen. Her name is Anju. She is very polite, helpful and a really nice cook. 5. The room has all necessary amenities and a very well equipped kitchen.

1. The property was probably in great shape a few years ago - but it needs major maintenance and upkeep. There are multiple broken door knobs/ locks, the towels need to be replaced, the bedsheets, sofa cushions, tables, furnitures, toilets - practically everything in that apartment is old and requires repair/ replacement/ maintenance. 2. There is a parking in the property, but is only adequate up to cars like Innova or equivalent. If someone is travelling with a 9-seater Traveller or bigger vehicle, that cannot be parked in the property. 3. The beds in 3 rooms are good only for 2 adults one small child, so you can only fit 6 adults. If extra bed is needed, they only provide a mattress on the floor. 4. The owner insists on prepayment - I had to pay the entire booking amount during check-in plus a security fee. But they refund the security fee without issues. 5. The property is practically inaccessible for older people or people having issues with climbing stairs. There are at least 30 to 40 stairs that someone has to climb before reaching the common yard/ terrace area. Then it is again a flight of stairs to your floor.

We stayed 4 nights in the studio apartment Ruchi and Nitish are super hosts and very.good people. Always friendly, helpful and organised. The view from our room is one of the best in Mussoorie , especially.from.the terrace. Very clean studio, with room serviced every day. Meals were always delivered.on time. The owners dogs are really friendly, but they give you space if you prefer. The hosts can organise taxis for you.

It must be said that the main road entering Mussoorie is close to the property There is continuous traffic noise until late at night. Then you have another noise issue, especially on weekends The terrace is a great place to hang out and see the lights of the city below. The terrace is very near some rooms. . Inconsiderate people played music and screamed and talked loud while we were there, well after midnight.on 2 occasions. The property has signs in the rooms saying no excessive noise after 10,30, but unfortunately it wasn't enforced. The property is a fair hike uphill to Mall Road, no problem for us, but would be if you had mobility issues.

This property is value for money. Mesmerizing view, excellent location, helpful staff, clean and well equipped rooms... Perfect!!
