Lovely little apartment and the location and parking were perfect for us. Really comfortable, clean and tidy.

This property is in an excellent location, close to some good restaurants and pubs in the old steelmaking area of Sheffield. The apartment is in a converted manufacturing building and has some nice original old beams and a metal pole. The sofa is comfortable and there is a nice colour scheme. It was very cold the weekend that we were staying, but the owners had provided us with two oil-filled radiators which were definitely needed to boost the heating in the main living room and bedroom.

Parking was quite tight, and as there seems to be ongoing work within the block, there were workmen's vans filling up some of the spaces when we arrived. We had great difficulty finding the entrance to the apartment, as it was behind a very temporary-looking plywood 'door' without a handle. There was a dryer situated just outside the apartment which seemed to be used by the people in the apartment next door. This is not supposed to be used after 9pm, but it was on one night and as it is just on the other side of a partition wall, could be heard quite loudly in the bedroom. I wondered about the safety of having something which is a fire risk against a plasterboard wall and next to the only exit from the apartment. The apartment itself could have been really good, but there was a lack of attention to detail which let it down. There were no bedside table lamps and only one bedside table in the bedroom, which made it very dark and gloomy, even with the main overhead light on. The fridge was dirty with a frozen-up icebox and a door which should have opened the other way. The kitchen area had a great extractor over the hob and a dishwasher, but there were no instructions for the dishwasher and it took me a while to figure it out. There were not enough pots and pans and storage was a bit haphazard, with no proper cupboard under the sink and there was a gap in the kitchen flooring. Some of the towels in the bathroom had seen better days and there was no toilet roll holder. There was no coffee table in the lounge. Most of these issues could have been put right with a little bit of time and effort and no great expense, but would greatly improve the visitor experience.

We couldn't find a chopping board. We originally struggled to find the apartment - clearer instructions could be helpful.

Lovely property in a great location. The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable and great kitchen facilities too (microwave, fridge, two hobs, oven). Plenty of off-road parking.

Cosy, kitchen facilities for cooking on Xmas day. Comfy bed. Dog friendly

WiFi disconnecting, couldn't open windows, quite warm in apartment. Hairs in the bed and bath, oven tray and a few kitchen utensils not properly cleaned. Two nights and only one and a bit loo rolls, luckily brought a spare. Bath ran cold, so shower only.
