Location was great.

We were genuinely shocked and disgusted by the condition of Figtree Lane during our recent stay. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness had not been taken seriously at all. The walls in the bedroom had visible handprints and what looked like splashes or stains directly above the bed — not something anyone should have to see, let alone sleep next to. The bedding was equally concerning, with noticeable stains that made us question whether it had even been properly changed. It felt unhygienic and completely unacceptable for any kind of paid accommodation. The kitchen was extremely poorly equipped. There was a severe lack of basic items — only three cups provided, no adequate cookware, and very limited utensils, making it difficult to even prepare a simple meal. For a property advertised as self-catering, this fell far short of expectations. The outdoor space was another major let-down. It was unkempt, poorly maintained, and not a space you would feel comfortable using or relaxing in. It looked neglected and nothing like what you would expect based on typical listings. Overall, the entire property felt neglected, unclean, and not fit for guests. This was a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience, and we would strongly advise others to avoid staying here.

Stayed one of the weekends of the world snooker championship and this was a phenomenal location for the Crucible. It's small and only the very basics in the apartment but very clean, great shower and slept two of us very comfortably for a few nights. The check in instructions perfectly clear and wary to follow. My security deposit was returned on timely manner.

Really nice clean apartment. Had everything I needed for my short visit. Would definitely stay there again. It is situated well in the city with all pubs restaurants shops a short walk away. Can not fault it at all. Well done and thank you .

The location is perfect for this property. Its a good size and is very convenient and good value for money.

The awful sofa bed which wasn’t for for purpose.

The bathroom was nice enough. And the kitchen offered a seperate freezer with complimentary bag of ice cubes. It was handy location, very near shops and 5 min walk from the crucible. That was it.

Filthy black marks on all the bedding. Was told it was from the tumble dryer, but bedding did not have a freshly cleaned smell, not did it look tumble dried from the deep creases. Dirty marks on all the walls and carpets. Ripped sofa. Sticky kitchen floor. Dirty oven. Place felt run down and grubby. Uncomunicative host. Damage deposit of £50, and photo I.D, were required, but this request was not sent until 9.30pm the night before my arrival. I sent this promptly, but still had to chase them for check in details, which were not provided until 1hr 15mins before arrival time. Tv was very poor, kept freezing. Damaged batteries in remote, had to buy new ones. No toaster in kitchen! No tea towels. No tea, coffee or shower gel provided. Property is not accessible. Heavy metal gate to access front door. On steep cobbled hill. 'Superior appartment' (flat 4) is located on 1st floor, up 19 main stairs. With a further 13 stairs inside the flat. Outside smoking area is down on ground floor. Outside area was filled with broken furniture,littered with discarded broken boards, metal, cigarette butt's, tin cans. There is a 2nd bedroom in this flat, but it was unusable, due to hard metal poking through the mattress. Property is overall run down and shabby. Host not responsive to my complaints. Very poor, would not recommend.
