Kelham's Finest - Elegant & Comfy 2 Bedroom Flat

Very clean, modern and stylishly decorated. Two bathrooms. Comfy beds. Nice to have the balcony. No noise at all from other apartments. Very close to the Kelham Island area.

Personally I found it a bit too warm, particularly at night, and had to sleep with the window open (meaning some traffic noise). This was in April, with all the heaters in the apartment turned off. You can't park there, but free parking on the street is possible a few minutes' walk away (which worked out fine).

The apartment is tastefully decorated, clean and has all that is required for a break in the city. There is a supermarket two minutes from the property as well as easy access to pubs and dining. The online responses were prompt.

The only drawback was secure parking which I had to walk to and which was expensive. I didn’t realise the property offered a 15% discount on it until after booking the parking.

This is a very minor point, the apartment is geared for 4 adults but there are only 4 comfy seats as the sofa, although a 3 seater one, only really seats two adults

-The deposit process has some technical issues regarding taking payment and took me over an hour to complete. -The only toiletries that were available were 3 bottles of conditioner. -The listing has a question about smoking on the balcony and it says it’s allowed. It was frustrating to learn after booking the apartment that smoking was not allowed on the balcony and even more frustrating to see others smoking on their balconies. Personally I would remove the question/answer on the listing as this is misleading.

Really nicely decorated and furnished. Comfortable beds. Welcome biscuits, coffee and refrigerated water. Host very helpful and accommodating.

Quite noisy by the road and air con very noisy (mains for whole building) but it does go off later in the evening.
