Charming studio with private patio

Rita (the owner) was really nice to communicate, a place was not far from the centre. I like wood, so it looked really beautiful

The problem was the entrance door - old, broken with padlock. So if you take out the paddlock to enter and head down to the outside coorridor to the patio, the wooden door needs to be closed with hooks, which open somehow and there was insecurity feeling that someone will enter at night and the main door is glass door....... There is another door from the patio - there was no key. The house is nice, natural from inside - wooden, but carpet is not needed - it's always a fear to spill smth. Door from inside corridor is loose, you try to close it - it comes off. There is no washing machine, or at least smth to dry stuff washed under the sink. The clothes were drying for 2 days. Too much unnecessary stuff everywhere, very cluttered ( no freshness feeling - less old stuff the better for guests) and dark as there is no window just glass door. The electric stove is very old and quite unsecure to use. For a couple of days it is ok and if the owner sorts out all the defects people write about - it would be a really nice place for a longer stay;)))))

We spent a couple of days in this cozy place, and everything was as described. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, the bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was enormous. The heating was adequate for the cooler nights, and the dehumidifier worked very well. Additionally, it's within walking distance from the center.

The studio is cozy and the host is super nice and communicative!

Is quite humid and there are no window so it’s quite dark, they’ve kindly installed a humidifier to solve the problem

Location is OK, in quiet area, close to shops. The price was OK.

The entrance towards apartment is questionable, I bumped my head on leaders attached to wall because there is no any light in that passage. The apartment (apart from bathroom) was not cleaned; there is still someones toothbrush under the bed and some other stuff that I didn't want to touch. The bed sheets and pillow covers were not washed recently at all-weird smell when I entered apartment. The fridge was not cleaned (also smell) and a lot of used food from previous tenant. The smoke detector batteries were close to be empty, I had to remove battery because on last day because it was constantly making noise.

The studio is lovely and there were several lamps. Including pretty lights/mood lighting. However, I found it a little dark in the bathroom and would have preferred more lights/brighter central lights.

Nice location close to the center of Stavanger (10 min walk). The place is very nice, intimate. I really liked it.

Very good communication with Rita. She was answering very fast. Instructions on how to get keys was super easy. The studio location was perfect- almost in the city center. For me, the most important thing is clean bed sheets and they were clean :) It was nice that we could cook in our apartments. Also, the fact of jacuzzi is great. A lot of nice things in the studio that make it very cozy. The shop was very close to apartment and it was great as well. If you look on pictures on booking and read about the apartment itself, everything is clear. So you won't be surprised that there is no sink or there is no door in the bathroom. So it is nice that you know exactly what to expect from the description on the booking. Our overall rate is good because we liked our stay, communication with the owner, and other nice things. The fact that there are no windows make it a little bit depressive for the longer stay. But if you are travelling for few days, it is not a big problem. It was uncomfortable that there is no sink to wash dishes, but again, if you are travelling for few days-it won't be a big deal. Would be also great to have a hood in kitchen as well to avoid different smells while cooking. A little bit strange system with locking and opening doors but when you get use to it, it is okay :) And some other small issues, but this is something that I let know Rita privately :)
