Hebridean Town House

This is a nice little flat ,very central in the town. It has been well designed to fit everything necessary into quite a small space. The flat was immaculately clean and the welcome pack,which included bread and milk,was very welcome.The beds are really comfortable.

The flat is up a steepish flight of stairs ,with more stairs to get to the bedroom and we had to be very careful,being both in our 70's with arthritis. We managed,but this might need to be borne in mind for older people wanting to use it. The kitchen space was imaginatively designed to fit everything in,but using the hob proved dark and difficult as the extractor fan and light did not seem to be working. The owner had forgotten to replace the book of instructions and information for the flat-it would have been useful to have had it.That said, the owner was very responsive to my telephone calls and texts.

Very clean and in a brilliant location in the centre of the town.

Donna was very responsive to any emails and messages, even checking to make sure everything was okay during a storm. The location is great, although when we were there, it was a Sunday and a public holiday Monday so hardly anything was open. Donna had left some supplies that were handy for our start; bread, eggs, milk, butter, jam, apple juice, so that was an unexpected bonus. Most things were there to make our stay comfortable, even flannels which we don't always find in accommodation.

I think a tea towel in the kitchen would be handy and also some light over the stove top. Instructions on how to use the oven, etc would be helpful. Yes, the stairs are tricky but then it's an old place and to be expected. It's also quite compact, but again, older places usually are.
