Hebridean Town House

The food left for our arrival was very good, especially since this wasn't advertsied as part of our booking, very thoughtful of the host.

Very happy with everything, it was all as explained through booking.

The accommodation was cosy, central, quiet and comfortable. I'm already thinking about a return trip for longer! Provision of breakfast items was particularly thoughtful and welcome.

I stayed too short a time!

Nice flat, centrally located and clean. The host is accommodating and responsive. The kitchen was stocked with lots of essentials like butter, milk, eggs, bread and cereals which was brilliant. I was lucky not to have neighbours downstairs which made it very quiet. The wifi and TV work really well. There’s 2 heaters which work well as the nights were fresh in August.

It’s above a chip shop so a little smelly and I couldn’t open the upstairs windows in the evenings because of the smell. The single beds are a little small and some of the windows do not have blinds which makes sleeping in the morning a challenge because of the light. Some kitchen towel and a bin in the bathroom would be a great addition.

Such a delightful place,and Donna's care and thoughtfulness was outstanding. If ever we're back in Stornoway that's our place.

Catching the sun all day, this little flat is very convenient for shops and ferry but also pretty quiet at night. Many unexpected extras were provided, which was a nice surprise. Very clean everywhere and very comfy beds! Fitted carpets on all stairs and in the bedroom.

The flat is on the first and second floors of the building. I'm 75 and had I been aware of the steep steps up to the front door and up to the bedroom, I'd have looked elsewhere. The wc / shower room is downstairs off the kitchen which means awkward trips to the toilet during the night.

This is such a great little flat - compact but really thoughtfully laid out and with everything we needed for a short stay in Stornoway. Brilliant location too. The host provided breakfast supplies, which was a very thoughtful touch.
