Fantastic location. Owners were very organised and friendly. Location brilliant for access to Ritsurin garden, public transport and supermarket.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They provide a folder full of useful information about the area. The accommodation was neat and clean. a 2 minute walk to the beautiful Ritsurin Garden. The train station is also walking distance. They also provide free parking.

We wanted to stay in a Japanese-style apartment and found this. Perfect for one or two persons. I appreciated that there was oil,soy sauce, salt and pepper there so we had the basics for cooking. Hosts were lovely and had prepared allot of information about the area.

Unfortunately the weather got cold while we were there so the apartment was pretty cold as soon as you turned off the heater and aircon

We're used to Japanese kindness but Kai-san and her husband were so wonderfully kind. The room was simple but very clean and the location was perfect, both for Ritsuin Park and the train to the different temples.

The hosts lived on site, very professional, and still very easy to approach with questions or concerns. They provided handmade guidebooks (in Japanese and English) for the neighborhood and also the general Takamatsu/Kagawa area. You can tell that they are comfortable hosting international visitors. The apartment was spotless and a great place to stay for multiple nights. Our room was a good size for two people. Three might've been a squeeze if staying for more than one night. 24-hour grocery store within walking distance was a plus. Parking is available on site as well. The hosts also offer free use of bicycles or umbrellas, if needed. Just ask! Also, the AC unit was so quiet that we didn't notice it was running; that was mindblowing. =)

The kitchen counter was lower than normal; I almost hurt my back from being hunched over while washing the dishes or cooking. There weren't very many restaurant options in the neighborhood, but the center of town is a short bus/train ride away, so not particularly a problem. There's also a hospital a few blocks away, so you may hear an ambulance or three passing by each day.

The owner was so kind. I made a mistake when booking, choosing the wrong days. So we arrived a day late, and I asked if it was possible to stay one more day. I was ready to pay more in order to repay for the trouble. Not only the lady was so kind, offering us some juice because we were tired, but she also let us stay a day more without paying (she also could speak English very well). The position is right in front of the Ritsurin Garden, the apartment was pretty big for the standard and had everything someone might need, the futon were also very comfy. I really reccomend it. Please don't make my same mistake, the owner was so worried when she saw we weren't arriving, and apparently the messages you send through Booking.com don't reach them.
