L'appartement est spacieux et agréable. Il est bien situé tout prés d'une gare de train pour rejoindre facilement le jardin Ritsurin ou le centre ville de Takamatsu. Je le recommande pour un séjour à Takamatsu.

"Unique opportunity to experience a poor housing situation in Japan :("

3.0

I didn't really "like" it there, but to be fair there are a few positive aspects: * The wifi was stable and quite fast. * There was a lot of space (for me as one single person) and several separate rooms. * Parking is free (but beware: the roads there are small, anything larger than a K-car will not be fun to drive to the property..). * Towels and linens, etc. were clean (it this really positive or something a reasonable customer can simply expect?) One fun thing happened: A guy who was trying to sell wired internet subscriptions rang the doorbell because he thought this was a regular appartment (with normal residents).

This was the second time every during my travels in Japan (since 2005) when I actually had considered to abort my stay and find some other place. The heating is not strong enough (and in stupid locations) for a stay during winter (I was staying in December so it was between 10°C and 0°C outside. With 10°C it was OK, but below 5°C it would not be comfortable inside the rooms anymore). There is condensation water inside the windows, especially in the western style bedroom. The water collects at the bottom of the windows, in the wooden frame and creates stains in the curtains. The western style bedroom does not have a heating.. the only way to get it heated as a workaround is by opening the door to the main room - which strains the already insufficient heating there even more. The washing-machine wasn't clean, I remove a larger amount of things (sand and fabric) from the fluff filter, then I ran the self-clean-program and removed more dirt from the filter. After that I felt somewhat comfortable to use it for my clothes. The kitchen has some ventilation-thing above the cooking zone which is not properly fixed - when there's decent wind outside, it starts swinging back and forth. You can push it into place (it's sticky.. probably because it's not cleaned well), but after a few wind bursts it will have moved itself away from the wall again. The bathroom walls are rusting (at least I hope it's rust and not worse..). The towel stand is falling apart. Toilet paper was only one roll for a 1 week stay. The toilet smells like a smoking-room (but has ventilation, so after a minute it is OK). The house is very near to the train lines, so you can hear the trains and even feel the vibrations (put a glass of water on the desk and you get small waves, like in "Jurassic Park").
