Nasara Resort is an great base for a surf trip in the Mentawais. The team were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, making the whole stay easy and enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable and well designed — perfect for recovering after long days in the water. The location is a real highlight, with quick access to all the good waves in the area. The resort itself is beautifully set up and a great place to unwind at the end of the day. A high-quality resort with a relaxed vibe — highly recommended.

Very beautiful boutique hotel. Absolutely amazing staff - the cook pampered us every day with yummy local cuisine! Comfy spacious rooms with wonderful balcony views. Very quiet too!

Where to start!? I consider myself some what of a connoisseur of tropical island paradises having been lucky enough to have travelled through the Caribbean, Philippines, Fiji, South east Asia, the list goes on. Even on this trip alone I travelled to several different spots around sumatra and the mentawais but truly... Nasara resort is something special. The hospitality is unmatched. The service and organisation is like that of a Western 5star hotel. Rooms are beautiful, food is delicious, trips on offer are affordable and fantastic. Obviously it goes without saying the setting is jaw droppingly beautiful, with sunset views every evening. But everywhere in the mentawais is blessed with a stunning setting so what makes this place different.. alot of resorts are run by surf bros that visited, wanted to stay and set up accomodation to allow them to do this.. they're beautiful and great but sometimes a bit disorganised and lack some finesse. What makes nasara stand out.... whilst I don't know the background... it feels like it is run by someone with alot of experience in hospitality and tourism. Everything is so slick. It's affordable, it's close to loads of surf breaks, it has great activity options for those that don't surf. Just this morning before breakfast I snorkelled out the front of the resort - it is some of the healthiest reef I have seen since I was a child. It's stunning, stunning, stunningly beautiful and close to the port. I travelled to some spots in the south of sipora and it's a long and bumpy journey after a 4hour ferry. Less than 10mins on the private boat and you have arrived at this paradise. I almost never go back to the same place twice.. the world is so big and there is so much to see, but I cannot waitttt to come back here. My husband surfs and spearfishes and he has been so so jealous of all the photos haha. Steve has been so kind, welcoming and accommodating. I really can't recommend it enough.

L’emplacement dans un lieu paradisiaque, la gentillesse du personnel, l’accueil très chaleureux de Stephen et le fait d’avoir été surclassées gratuitement dans une chambre magnifique avec vue sur l’océan. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Nasara et nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Il buffet ai pasti scarso sia di varietà e qualche piatto anche per la qualità,soprattutto per la colazione poca la scelta.Rapporto qualità prezzo da migliorare.

Everything anyone could have ever asked for. It was perfect for me especially the host and the staff. The beach was beautiful, service was good, staff was kind and friendly.

My trip to Nasara Resort in the Mentawai Islands started seamlessly thanks to Steve’s outstanding service. When we arrived at Tuapejat, the Nasara team was already waiting on the wharf to help with my bags. We then travelled in a beautiful 12-metre traditional boat to Nasara, a short and scenic 8-minute ride that perfectly set the scene for my tropical holiday. Waiting for me on the beach was Andre, our host, who greeted me with an ice-cold face towel to freshen up, followed by a resort and island introduction with a refreshing cold coconut to quench my thirst. The rooms were awesome—spotlessly clean, very spacious, and with an ocean view unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The water was only 20 metres from my balcony, with a clear view all the way out to Suicides and Icelands. The meals were absolutely delicious. Genta and the kitchen staff prepared such yummy dishes, always happy to accommodate my dietary needs, which was a breath of fresh air. Endi, our dining room manager, was a character—friendly, funny, and with perfect English—making communication easy and relaxed. Nasara has an activity brochure full of exciting adventures, and Andre was always ready to help organise them. I went kayaking through pristine mangroves, then out to Satan Island for some incredible snorkelling. The sea life was unforgettable. To all the Nasara staff—thank you. You made my holiday exceptional, and it’s an experience I will cherish forever. see you next time Guys.
