Casa Conte

This was a spacious modern, well equipped apartment just a short walk from the town centre and within easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants. The hostess was friendly and helpful. Parking outside in a quiet area. Wish we had booked for 3 nights instead of 1, and used it as a base to explore the area.

I booked this at short notice and was very pleased with the property, which looked exactly as displayed on the photos. It was clean and cosy, with some nice personal touches (mobile aircon in the bedroom, shower gel if you need it, nice towels in the bathroom). Beds were comfortable too and there was a sofa in the living room as well as a dining table for 4. The bathroom has a good size walk-in shower with nice water pressure (not always a given in Tübingen). It's a top floor flat (no lift, if that's important to you but easily climbable) and there is a lovely small balcony with views of the Wurmlingen chapel. The small kitchen(ette) has a full size hob and oven, a dishwasher (yeah!) and a Senseo coffee maker and a nice selection of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. The flat comes with a parking space in an underground garage. Our rental car was a bit larger, so I decided to park on the road, which was also fine and parking spaces were easily available. There is a bakery and DM market (a drugstore) super close, as well as a modern Aldi Sued only a few minutes walk away. The house is in a nice and safe area (Tübingen is safe anyway but this was very safe), was quiet and we could hear the birdsong in the evening, which was lovely. Finally, we got the keys via key-box and even though we didn't actually meet our the host, she was very friendly and responsive and made us feel really welcome. I would recommend for 2-3 people.

A microwave would be a nice addition.

Easiest check in ever. Very responsive. Grandson got good use out of the balcony. It was easy to get to town with the bus. The bakery down the street was very good. The DM store across the street is perfect to have . I love that we had lots of windows to open and have a cross breeze since i need to have cool room at night.

carrying heavy liuggage upstairs may be hard on older people. And parking is tight..only small cars…not a big deal for us.

The apartment was cosy and clean. Had enough places for 4 people(3 adults and 1 kid) The facility was great and it was really easy to do self check-in
