Location,grounds,lots of kitchen crockery, pots etc

Linen needs updating, a little worn out and outdated. New neutral linen will make a big difference when jumping into bed at night.

The property had beautiful views, was very cosy and serene. The staff - Happiness and Clement were helpful.

The driveway was very muddy from the rain which made it very difficult to enter the property with a normal car. Would suggest fixing the driveway or letting people know if it has rained beforehand so they can use an SUV. No signal in the cottage, got signal outside the cottage though with MTN.

Clean, comfortable, well-organised. Pretty garden, good facilities. Lovely seeing and very close to Drakensberg Gardens with all it's facilities

The only drawback, is that there is essentially no cellphone reception. It was possible to access a weak signal from Cell C network much of the time, but Vodacom and Telkom not at all (I don't know about MTN). It would have been helpful to have known this beforehand. People intending to stay there might like to buy a Cell C data card and take a mobile router with them so that they have connectivity during their stay.

Was surprised to find out the whole property was for us only so we had a choice of rooms. Also very very clean and well kept.

Property should mention there is NO cell phone reception. Only states no wifi but you can’t even make a phone call.

A beautiful serene place. Very well maintained.

I should have stayed 1 more night to see the snow. Unfortunatly work didnt permit.

Esigodini Cottage is a lovely property in the beautiful foothills of the Drakensberg, and when we visited the autumn colours made every road in the area a delightful and colourful spectacle. We loved the cottage, which has lots of character. The history of the owners are displayed on the walls and on the shelves, and it made it feel homely. The fireplace with the woodpile was very welcome in the cold. Thanks to Happiness and Clement, we were well cared for.
