Apartamentos do Prado In Douro

The first impression is that the apartment is actually smaller than it seems online... however, it has a modern kitchen, fully equipped with the right appliances, which was an important reason for choosing it, since we are a couple who like to cook and considering the occasion (Valentine's week)... On the other hand, the glass-ceramic hob touch panel was broken and we had to resort to the oven, there was no suitable container for this purpose, except for the oven tray... there was also a lack of kitchen utensils in general...In particular, there were 2 main plates (1 of each color), 1 deep plate and 2 dessert plates and some old cutlery... 2 coffee cups and 2 tea cups... The bathroom is a decent size, however the mirror was attached too high, and the first aid kit was literally empty. We also noticed a lack of toilet paper and garbage bags. And we really liked the fact that there were floor-to-ceiling curtains on the windows. The bed is quite comfortable and the closet is spacious.

they charged me a lot for the pet and then there is not a single mop. everything very clean but very empty too.

The apartment had everything

The stairs. Very dangerous. My small dog fell down. The price for having the dog, 50 euros, that remained in 25, is the most expensive I have ever paid

Quiet

Seriously steep slippery stairs. Narrow entrance that almost immediately is staircase. Had to ask passerby to ooen door to allow me and bike access. Bend in stairs to get to room. Hurt knee. Could not get shower ir coffee machine to work. Would def not recommend this property for cyclists. Ironically, it is next to N2 road, which gors from Faro to Chaves. I would not rrcommend this either as drivers seem to want to kill cyclists. Glad I am back in Spain where there is a respectful cycling culture.
