Victoria Boulevard - Vasco da Gama - Vilamoura

Apartamento muito bom, amplo, construção recente, com boa luz natural, bem equipado, facilidade de arrumação. Razoavelmente limpo. Colchões muito confortáveis. Fácil acesso à piscina que dispunha de boas espreguiçadeiras. De uma forma geral, gostei de tudo, correspondeu ao que pretendia.

Embora chegando à hora marcada para o check in, o alojamento ainda não tinha sido limpo. Foi necessário esperar cerca de uma hora para que as funcionárias limpassem o apartamento e, talvez por essa razão, de forma atabalhoada. O ralo de um dos lavatórios cheio de cabelos. A roupa de cama, para além da fraca qualidade, não era adequada às dimensões das camas. Numa das camas colocaram 2 lençóis pequenos atravessados, tipo resguardos, em vez de um lençol com as dimensões adequadas, pelo que tivemos que solicitar um outro.

Positioned just a couple of hundred yards from the Anantara Hotel, which has a very nice pool bar and restaurant area at the rear. The property itself is a very nice ground floor apartment, with 2 ensuite bedrooms and a generously sized open plan lounge/dining kitchen arrangement. Plus private terrace at the rear. There is a very nice communal pool area private to the surrounding apartments which was almost always completely deserted, so felt like our own pool area.

Initially the property was not easy to find - the address provided could not be understood by our driver (local) and we drove around for 20-30 minutes until he saw the property management company's car and spoke to the lady who let us into the property. The keys to the property were key fobs, rather than 'real keys'. This caused an awful experience with the property management people locking us out of the property on our last day, until approaching 11pm. - We sat outside unable to get a response from the company (no response to Bookingdotcom messages or telephone calls) until I managed to dig an emergency number out of their website on my iphone... and then there were more issues getting help... (long and very frustrating story of our last day being completely spoiled!). The property management company's lack of organisation and communication was very disappointing. There was no 'welcome information' left at the property whatsoever, explaining those important things, like the internet network name and password, together with the location of recycling bins etc. This would save lots of time for them as Im sure they must spend time answering lots of the same questions about these basic facilities. While a very nice 'nespresso style' coffee machine was indeed in the kitchen, there were no coffee pods provided (would have been better to not have the machine sitting there at all). I did, after we left, have a message of apology from the property Management People - HD Properties I believe. However, there has been nothing tangible from them. I cannot believe how close we were to having a truly super stay

The apartment was clean and spacious. It was perfect for a family vacation. The rental company wae very helpful and accomodating.

Some of the light had special switches which did not work. The bath plug didn't stop the water from going down so baths were not possible for the kids.
