Blue Moon Villa

The location is perfect, very close to the beach. The apartment has lot’s of space and a large balcony which was very nice. The owner was very kind and the breakfast delicious. I would definitely recommend!

It could have been a bit cleaner, but wasn’t too bad overall. And the train was a bit loud, but didn’t disturb us during the night.

I had a wonderful two-night stay at this apartment. It is on the third floor of a private house and has a large bedroom, kitchen, living room, and a balcony. The cleanliness was excellent—the bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom were all spotless. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, passing through a great restaurant where you can buy delicious food and drinks. I have been to many beaches in Sri Lanka, but this one is one of the nicest I have seen. The ocean is a beautiful blue color, and the beach is quiet with very few people, making it a perfect place to relax. The lady hostess was very helpful, and the family downstairs made us feel at home. They were kind and welcoming, always ready to help. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway!

The water pressure on the third floor and hot water was not working properly. If this issue is fixed, it would make the stay even better.

proximity to the beach

we arrived at 2pm the room was not ready.. The owner took us to a restaurant near the beach and made us wait two hours. Then she asked us to pay the entire reservation in cash without having seen the room. She also asked us to cancel the reservation when we were there so that she would not pay the fees to Booking. When we arrived in the room, we saw the bed, we asked her to change the sheet because it was dirty. For breakfast at the beginning was ok and gradually it deteriorated. Apartment is located next to a railway line. Many trains pass there day and night. When I returned to France, I wanted to leave a review, but she canceled the reservation herself saying that we had not come. I had to contact Booking to inform them of the situation. She is a dishonest person to avoid this rental. Jef from France 🇫🇷

Close to the beach and locals

The family is beautiful and they make you feel like home. The house is big with a great living room. Nothing to say.

Maybe a bit far from the main area, however it's a calm and quiet place.

Happy to stay blue moon villa ..this apartment is very good and comfortable to spend leisure time..calm and quiet..near the beach and should walk around 2-3min to reach to beach.. breakfast is perfect and delicious.. attractive apartment wall decorations with traditional mask🥰 recommend this for all travellers

The property was very clean and super close to The beach & a nice restaurant (green lobster) It was the perfect pit stop on our journey down south.
