Clean, spacious, everything you need and a wonderful host. Close totheshops and in a very quiet area.

Everything was good

The bed was a bit hard

We only stayed five nights but the Green Door would be ideal for an extended stay. It’s a real ‘home away from home’.

Well appointed, roomy, private. Comfy bed.

We were quite stressed after arriving at the property to find the door locked and no keys to be found. The message was that the door would be unlocked and the keys would be on the table in the room. However the host was in Prague and i was unable to contact her. We waited for ages hoping someone else would show up but in the end had to try and find other accommodation which was very difficult as there were no vacancies anywhere. Finally, as a last resort we found a place in Opotiki, and just as we were leaving someone turned up, apologized and opened the door for us. Very stressful.
