Luxury Upstairs & Downstairs Apartments

Wonderful location, very comfortable, stylish and spacious apartment, modern equipment

The location was exceptional allowing for easy immersion in dutch life and the surroundings were extremely picturesque. The grocery store was a minute walk from the apartment. Cafes, shops and local vendors in the square were very close as well (minutes from the apartment), which were visited for cappuccinos in the morning and to shop for local food/fresh sea food and rent bicycles. Our family of four was there for the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix and it was incredible to participate in the Formula 1 celebrations in the evening that were organized around the area of the apartment, which ended sharply at 12 am for the three nights of celebrations. The apartment was well stocked with dishes and pots for cooking meals and the fridge was large with a freezer. The washing machine and dryer also worked very well. These amenities made it easy to live in the apartment for a week.

It would have been useful to have more towels and bathmats in the apartment not only to have towels for the Zandvoort beach (which is also very close to the apartment) but also to have extras towels and bath mats for a family of four (that included two adults and two large teenagers) given the towels were on the small side and took a long time to air dry. With the high price of the apartment, there should have been enough toilette paper, dishwasher tabs, garage bags etc in the apartment for the 7 days we were there (so we didn't have to purchases these necessities ourselves). It would have been beneficial to have another fan in the apartment for the second bedroom, as there is only one and we had a couple of hot nights that required the fan. In line with this, it would have been helpful to have lighter duvets or additional throw blankets in the bedrooms to accommodate the hot nights as we removed duvets from covers to help with the heat and sleeping.

Very nice, spacious and comfortable apartment for four. Very well equipped with everything you might need. Great location in the centre of the village, but just around the corner in a quieter side street.

Something to hang the (beach)towels to dry would be convenient. Also, larger towels are not supplied, so if you want to swim or enjoy the beach, don’t forget to bring them yourself!

The apartment has everything you need! We liked that there were a lot of plates, glasses and cutlery. A lot of apartments only have 4 plates, 4 forks, etc. This one has plenty, so that you can run the dishwasher only every couple of days. The beds are very comfortable. So is the couch.

Checkin at 3 pm and checkout at 10 am is not ok. You basically lose 2 days!!! Also the apartment is very expensive. It’s a nice apartment, but the price is too high.

The apartment was in a great location, very central. The host was also very helpfull and we would have no problem returning to this property again if we visit in the future.

it is beautifully set up. Lovely decor and style. A very decent kitchen and a shower. helpfully, the toilet set up is separate - so a big family can use both more efficiently . The place felt very very clean and hospitable, even though it is a holiday let. And the location is good for the restaurants and beach. The agency were excellent and very flexible. I picked the keys up from a lockbox and whenever I had problems, ( I needed extra bedding and couldn’t find kitchen stuFf) they replied quickly via a video call and sorted it out. They even helped with ideas of places to visit and the best way to Amsterdam.I was grateful and we loved spending time in the flat

It is lovely flat, but very very expensive. Especially since zandvort is not as stylish a town as I hoped… it is an amazing beach and a nice place to come from Amsterdam for the weekend, but it felt that the town was a bit run down. There were a few too many drunks and basic restaurants/ shops, and the seagulls are vicious. I fell the centre needs an uplift. Also this is a flat. And the sound proofing isn’t great. Kids were disturbed by some thumping one morning. And sad to say we disturbed a family one night because the kids got over excited and had a fight over a board game and it felt like every noise vibration travelled. For example - the bed is high so the only way to get out of bed, as a kid , is to jump. And of course - this makes a noise . We were very sorry to realise we disturbed the other family , but of course, once everyone was asleep, it wasn’t a big deal.
