Mattaniah Pet friendly Accommodation

NOTHING but rudeness of the owner and zero customer service.

The owner was extremely rude. She told us no late check-in because her staff need to leave as they don’t stay in the property, which was a lie because the guy (staff) stays there. We rushed to make sure we are checked in by 9pm, when we get to the gate she tells us she will not open the gate before she receives our ID’s (this is through electronic communication). At this point we outside the gate with limited internet connection and we are telling her we have our ID’s with us and we will show them to her physically as soon as we get inside, she refused to open the gate from wherever she was until we did send the ID’s. We went inside the apartment and had 2 requests, the WiFi and some blanket as it was really cold (the night KZN was snowing)and very quickly in our chats she was telling us that we are are asking for too much and she is “just doing us a favor”. The conversation went very fast to her telling us to leave her establishment and go to better ones that we usually receive “good customer service”. She went on a huge rage over the phone with her employee, asking if he has taken our bags out of her property. I wish there was a way to add the voice notes as well🤦🏽‍♀️ After all this rudeness and zero customer services she sends a lame apology in the morning saying she was under stress…?

Great location, friendly hospitable staff/owners, excellent for pets, good value for money

Lack of aircon, need couch instead of chairs, need a place to rinse pets off and dry after beach walks.
