"Best option near the Airport."

Great place very near the airport. Safe location within a typical Dominican neighborhood. The host is super helpful. Clean and quiet.

"Did not stay at the property"

The address provided in the booking confirmation is incorrect/incomplete. My taxi driver couldn’t find the property. After asking around we finally found out it was a block over. Because of this delay I arrived 10min later than the time I had announced. I found the property closed in the dark with no one there. No one answered the phone or messages I sent through the app. I ended up booking a different property and didn’t stay at Merengue House.

You get more than you pay for. It was a pleasure to stay at Merengue Guest house. The accommodation is modern, beautiful and super clean. The bed is very comfortable. The house is pretty much secured and the owners live in the same House. You can feel safe and comfortable there. The owner showed us a second Appartement and it was as nice as the Appartement we booked. We booked the drive service as well. We got picked up at the airport and next day we got driven to a bus terminal for further travel. The owner was so nice and helpful and speaks English pretty well. Without asking for, he offered to call our next accommodation to ensure we take the correct bus. He even took some extra minutes at the bus terminal to help us booking the correct bus. We highly recommend this guesthouse!

"I only stayed for a couple of hours between flights but I had a great experience."

The host was so kind and the place was beautiful! I arranged for pick-up and drop-off to and from the airport with Merengue House for $30. I had to deal with some luggage delay issues with my airline and the host was so generous and patient to wait for me. He also dropped me off early to the airport at 3AM. Very accommodating, excellent communication, and felt safe. The place was clean and spacious with a comfy bed and big TV with Netflix. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend staying here!

"I’ll never go back.-a disaster"

Comfortable and fashionable

Sketchy neighborhood. Uber won’t come there. Owner wanted$10 for early check in. High fee for credit cards. Skipped dinner because couldn’t find an Uber after 30 minutes
