Durrell Liston Suites

High standard, great location

Fine as we only had hand luggage, but stairs would be a challenge with lots of luggage or mobility issues. Instructions for the aircon would be helpful.

A very stylishly furnished apartment within easy walking distance of the old town. We loved the extra large bed, which was extremely comfortable. The mini kitchen area was a bonus.

The only thing that was disappointing was the soundproofing on the windows.

The location was great. Just down from the beautiful bustling pedestrian only streets in a charming area. Beautiful blooming flowers growing up the side of the building. The apartment itself was nice, clean, comfortable with A/C. The curtains are pretty good.

Just as an fyi, the stairs in the building are quite small and steep. Carrying luggage may be a challenge for some. I only have one real complaint, and because of this, I would not re-book. We checked out in the morning but wanted to leave our luggage with the office (which is approximately 3 streets down) since our boat didn't leave until 5pm. No one was at the "office" when we went to drop off the luggage. After calling someone and waiting a bit, a nice woman arrived. However, we were then informed we had to have our luggage out by 1 pm. This left us returning early to get our luggage, then dragging it around town for hours in the sweltering heat as we looked for several nearby luggage storage stores which apparently don't exist anymore. We lost several hours and certainly lost our independence since we were with our luggage for the afternoon. If this issue was fixed, I would stay again or if this isn't an issue for you, you should be fine.

We absolutely loved this suite. We only booked it for one night after our return flight was cancelled but I honestly wish we’d booked it for the whole of our stay rather than where we actually stayed. The interior design is quirkily stylish and very pleasing. It’s clean, comfortable and in a brilliant location right near the Liston. Absolutely excellent.

This is our third time staying at the Liston Suites in Corfu. It makes a great base for exploring Corfu Town with a fantastic location. Additionally, the rooms are well decorated and the bed is super comfy. We will be back!

Fantastic place to stay! Great location in the old town, excellent communication and easy check in/check out. Room is beautifully furnished, cosy and clean.
