Cozy, clean, nicely decorated apartment in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts were welcoming and kind, the bed was warm and comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The town center was just a short walk away and we had no trouble finding parking spots nearby. A convenient take-away sushi place is just across the street and stays open quite late, and there is an Albert Heijn supermarket nearby. We felt right at home!

The toilet and bathroom are two separate rooms, which is not unusual in the Netherlands. However, while the toilet (just the loo and a tiny sink) is on the same floor as the rest of the apartment, the bathroom (a larger room with a shower and two sinks) is downstairs and the stairs are steep. This was the only drawback, and is okay for short stays, but it would have been nice to know beforehand.

The hosts paid special attention to details and amenities.

The location was very clean and we had all the accessory we need it. The apartment has a very nice terrace and lovely art accessory.

Excellent place! Can accommodate 4 people.

The host is really friendly and he has the photo studio downstairs. This time I cooked all my own food in-house due to my working hours, and there are plenty of kitchen pans and utensils available, with a good hob, oven and large fridge. The proximity to Albert Heijn is really convenient, and the street is really quite. Guaranteed a great night sleep in the conmfy bed. Would be even better in the summer as has a large outdoor area out the back with ample facilities

The downstairs shower room at the back is rather cold in the winter

Warm & cosy apartment close to Den Helder restaurants, which are just a 10-15 minute walk. Spacious kitchen, dining, lounge area, with a large doubdle bedroom. Upstairs toilet and separate bathroom downstairs at the rear. There's a huge private balcony out of the bedorom patio doors that I'm sure would be fabulaous in warmer weather. I liked it so much, I've just booked again for next week
