Ballygally seaview apartment

We stayed for two nights in this place and left it with the mixed feelings. First of all, the pictures of accommodation are misleading. Instead of the room in the house you will get a converted attic above the garage (you should be aware that there are steps to get to the attic). There's also a little privacy as this garage is in the owner's garden. The property is small but clean and has everything that we needed. Secondly, we came there as a family of four and we didn't expect to see one double bed and sofa that is absolutely NOT SUITABLE for sleeping. The mattress is so thin that we could feel every single spring in it. My husband and myself spent two sleepless nights over there. On the second night we even had to put the rug between this so-called mattress and fitted sheet as we needed to have some rest. It is a disgrace to let the property and put renters on that sofa! Unfortunately, we didn't appreciate design of the windows (doors?) as our four years old daughter was trying to climb the safety glass once it was open. Overall, the accommodation is clean, tidy and nicely designed. There's iron, hair dryer, soap, shower gel, plenty of towels. Kitchen is full of essentials and there's also little complimentary snacks. It would be a nice place for a couple but not for the family of four.

The fact of living in the attic above the garage in someone's garden - zero privacy that was really needed. The sofa is absolutely not suitable for sleeping. It's impossible to keep windows (doors?) open if you have a little curious child with you. It's impossible to walk anywhere, as there's no path for pedestrians and the property is too far from the sea/shops/restaurants anyway.

It was in a nice location and Gemma was extremely welcoming and helpful.

The location was very good if you are looking for a relaxing ger away and close to Belfast city and giants causeway if in a car. The hosts are amazing always happy to answer questions and were very accommodating

Apartment was lovely,clean comfortable annd had everything we needed . And a welcome basket of teas coffee etc Which always comes in handy after a long journey.

The apartment was in an excellent location. Beautiful views and the owners went out of their way to assist us, but weren't intrusive.

I wasn't aware when I booked that there was outside steps and I had elderly family with me.

The apartment is set in a stunning location. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very clean. Gemma was so friendly and made my sister and I (and our kids) really welcome.
