"Absolutely fab, the weather was perfect so we even got to sit in the little garden"

We were enamoured by this lovely little apartment, so close to the town centre and with great parking space and tranquility. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and we really appreciated the delicious Welsh cakes the host had put in the kitchen for us. We had a little bit of difficulty working out the heating upon arrival but the host was available on the phone and explained it all to us very well. It turned out to be very easy! We'd love to recommend this as a place to stay in Hay-on-Wye.

There was nothing to dislike.

The location is perfect for walking into Hay centre for all the bookshops. Great to have a dedicated parking space . The room was cosy and very bright with the dual aspect windows.

We loved the large bedroom and how spacious the property is. It's very well equipped, very comfy bed and the Welsh teacakes were a lovely touch and much appreciated. Also very good communication from the host.

It was quite cold at times, although we appreciate it is a lovely old property with high ceilings
