"Convenient quiet location."

Quiet location, easy access to town and also for walks by the river

Cramped eating in kitchen, I-player on smart TV didn’t work. The electric heaters struggled with ( exceptional) cold weather. Bed rather lumpy.

Perfect quiet location only around 5 mins walk into Hay town centre, spotlessly clean - everything you possibly need. Host super helpful. Would definitely visit again.

"A lovely flat in a very convenient location, but a few DIY jobs need doing in the bathroom."

Nicely decorated and well equipped. A couple of really nice touches: we'd been left a pint of milk in the fridge and a pack of Welshcakes. What a lovely welcome!

The following relates only to Flat 1: A few things needed some work that really should have been picked up before the place was made available: the toilet holder was so loose on the wall that the loo roll kept falling off. The clip-on toilet seat was very loose and lifting both seats at once caused the whole thing to jump of its hinges. The extractor fan was labouring so hard to work (probably clogged with dust) that we turned it off for fear of burning out the motor. The shower pole is loose in its mounting which causes the shower head to spin round when it's turned on. The kitchen work top area is very small. It was okay for us as we only prepared breakfasts, but cooking a main meal would have been a challenge. The wi-fi code wasn't displayed anywhere in the welcome pack (though we found it on the back of the router).

"The best place in Hay."

We've been visiting Hay-on-Wye for many years. We've stayed in lots of different hotels and b&bs. Wish we had found this little gem before. We will always stay at The Frank Lewis House in the future.

Can't really think of anything. Maybe it would be good if there was an eco recycling system set up.

"A lovely well equipped flat to recharge the batteries in beautiful Hay on Wye."

Perfect location in a quiet area close to the facilities of Hay on Wye. With a parking spot at the flat there was no need to move the car as everything was within walking distance.

Nothing everything was perfect for our needs.

"It was a shorter stay than we had planned!"

Nice little apartment. Owner was very responsive and refunded the rest of our stay.

Apartment was a bit on the small side. Bed was way too soft for us.
