The Piggery

Great stay. We were in the two bed apartment which was very nice and clean. Great, spacious open-plan lounge and kitchen. And the hosts were very clear in their communication and easy to deal with.

It was clean and spacious, great instructions to find the property and nice touch with milk, tea and coffee provided. Good decor too. Loved that it was close to stables and the chap we spoke to was very friendly and nice and gave us ideas of where to explore and eat.

There was a lot of noise walking around from upstairs, I had booked as I thought it was just one property. Our pup was a bit barky hearing people make noise and walk around at night. People were up at strange hours throughout night. A blind on the main door would have been nice. The kettle also needed to be descaled so we didn’t use it. Beds were soft.

This is a deceptively spacious flat: good seating area with large TV, good dining and kitchen areas and a spacious bedroom with loads of storage. The flat is just off a busyish road but, despite that, feels very rural. There is a pub that can be reached with a 5 minute walk.along a footpath - no good in the dark but great during the summer months.

For cooking purposes, it would have been useful to have some oil but that's a fine detail and was generally happy with everything.

I loved staying at the Piggery - lovely location and beautifully presented accommodation. Folder with local information and walking routes very helpful.

Nothing..l guess some noise from the road.

Sound from upstairs so if you are a light sleeper I suggest you take ear plugs

Beautiful location, very clean, everything you needed was there, beds comfortable and very good quality furniture.

Garden Furniture could do with being replaced not at all comfortable for sitting outside all day.

Apartment well fitted out. Suited our purposes. Welcome folder contained helpful info and walk suggestions with home produced maps. Would go again.

Nothing! (Only suggestion would be for a non- slip mat for the shower.)
