Garden Suites

It’s in a nice location, there are a few good coffee places in the street and the old town is within walking distance. The room was properly cleaned, however, there was a very bad smell coming from the bathroom.

We had booked an “apartment with one bedroom” including a garden. We thought it would we convenient with our 1-year old daughter to have a separate bedroom. However, it was not an apartment but just one very small room and a small bathroom. The garden turned out to be shared. The rooms are all located in the basement area. For the high price that we paid (€225!) all of this was very disappointing. As mentioned in other reviews (and unfortunately still not solved) there was a very bad smell in the room, coming from the bathroom. Also, the shower was leaking and we could constantly hear it dripping when we were in bed. The hosts didn’t make any effort to check us in, we haven’t seen anyone - door codes were provided by email and when we replied to the message we never received a reply (it seems they can only be reached by the phone number provided). Info on the room and Corfu could only be found in the online booklet. The garden looks much nicer in the pictures - it is next to a busy road and full of mosquitoes. We had 2 great weeks in Greece in lovely accommodations but this last night was a huge disappointment. For the first time ever we felt we had been ripped off.

Great apartment for our short stay in Corfu, very comfortable bed plus a sofa bed, big bathroom with a walk in shower, lovely, accomodating staff. The location is less than 10min walk to old town/centre, and just a few stpes from a seaside promenade.

Incredibly clean, amazing location, tasteful modern interior - very comfortable bed! Staff helpful - let us know that, if we had wet towels, we could dry them in the rear garden. Garden area itself was fantastic, nicely shaded from the 35c heat, brilliant for breakfast. Nespresso coffee machine was a nice touch. Bathroom was incredibly clean and the shower was great. AC was a god-send, and the bluetooth ‘den’ speaker was a great little addition to add some atmosphere. Location is fantastic, just a short 5 - 10 min walk into the old town and a 15 minute walk from a brilliant beach near to the windmill.

Only one tiny gripe and that was the toilet flush is a bit temperamental - kept sticking and continuously flushing!
