La Casa Del' Maestro

Rena, our host met us and gave us great information about the property and facilities, the local area plus additional tips for our first time in Corfu. The property is situated in the heart of the old town, close to restaurants, shops, the fort and the beaches. In fact we walked to the accommodation from the ferry port and to the airport (although we wouldn’t recommend that in high heat or with lots of luggage). The apartment had everything we needed for our two day stay. We would definitely stay here again.

These are things to be aware of, rather than things we didn’t like. The wifi in the house wasn’t very reliable but a mobile unit was provided so when we were outside we didn’t need to use our own data (which was amazing). Shower was a handheld shower (which is popular in Greece). There were approximately 40 stairs, so please note this if you have heavy luggage or accessibility needs.

Great location with a helpful and knowledgeable host. It was almost like staying in a beautifully kept museum room in fact there is an attraction nearby to visit a house held back in time not too dissimilar to this charming apartment.

The stairs are quite steep so wouldn't sit anyone not fit enough to haul their luggage up The shower attached to the bath which is quite narrow might not suit the less nimble It can get very hot in the summer and fine when the a/c is working but the electricity can go down from time to time but that would be the same wherever you stayed in the area ... the charm of old originality smoothness comes at a cost of lack of modernisation

Every thing

We had a wonderful stay. The decoration was really stylish and we had everything we needed. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. The location is just perfect, in the city center. You can reach everything easily. The host was really lovely and recommended some places nearby that we loved.

What a lovely apartment! Very comfortable spaces in living room, kitchen and sitting room. Mattress is firm guaranteeing good nights’ sleep. Excellent location within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Reliable air conditioning- so necessary in July. While we are on a busy walkway, bedroom is in the back, away from street noise. Rena is a wonderful hostess - engaging and very responsive to any questions we had.

Loved everything

The location was just excellent. The host is incredibly nice and helpful, she gave us good advices about the beach and lunch places. The apartment is equipped with everything you have at home, nothing was missing. Besides, some food, drinks, fruit, sweets, etc. were prepared for us. Not often appartement owners provide this level of service.

The property is amazing! Loved the decoration! Is Located in the center of Corfu city but the same time is very quite!

Quite a lot of food provided. The apartment is beautifully appointed, stylish with a lot of historic charm. The location could not be more convenient, right in the middle off everything - short stroll to the beach, in the middle of restaurants, bars etc. Like to old city itself, the apartment has a sense of history and tradition.

the plumbing. Like just about everywhere in Greece, the plumbing is ancient and even weird.
