Beautiful location peaceful environment great staff they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable the owner/manager personally came to welcome and greet us and gave us some fresh peaches and also the wood we used was on the house the place was sparkling clean with everything u need i cannot complain or say anything bad or negative about the place it was a place where time stands still and where you can let go of your stress awesome I can go on given only good reviews about this place Thank you very much for the beautiful Property 🙏

Very accommodating host, really went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. 100% recommend this place for a quiet getaway.

We had a five night stay in Royal Gala, one of the cottages high up in the mountains. It was picture perfect, best view we had in decades. The house itself is spacious, well planned and top class comfortable. Everything in the house is top quality - furniture, crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, bedding and linen - the huge verandah overlooking the mountains and valley is a retreat in itself. For nature lovers there is plenty to do and enjoy. I can highly recommend Vredehoek for peace and tranquility, our stay was outstanding = 10/10. (Make sure if you planning to stay few days to take all your food and drink, nearest shopping is in Worcester - 35 km away)

None. Everything was in tip-top condition.

The view of the mountains and vineyards was exceptional. The property made some shade covering above the porch with the grape vines which is a beautiful touch. There were also guineafowls that came by every evening to say goodnight. The bed was very comfortable and helped us catch up on some well needed sleep. All amenities were there as described by the host. The Wi-Fi was strong, so we could call family members. The host also quickly assisted with a last-minute change which we are extremely grateful for.

Our stay was too short. We wish we had more time to stay a few extra days to explore the property.

Beautifully appointed cottage at foot of mountains with stunning views and excellent facilities catering for all needs. Peaceful and close to hiking routes and nature.
