Gustav House

Very central location and great responsive host. We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is fully equipped, all kitchen utilities etc. are available. Very clean apartment and great value. Safe parking on the streets around the location of the apartment.

We had breakfast in the kitchen. There was possibility to make coffee and cook.

It was said that there are 2 beds - bed and sofa bed. Unfortunately we didn't understand how to convert the sofa in bed and my colleague had to sleep on the sofa. The TV set regulations were only in russian. At first a free parking place was difficult to find, but we were lucky later.

Well in advance we were offered a different apartment from the same provider called Fuksija House as Gustav House wasn't available and we decided to stay there. Milana was a good host, quick to respond and we had no issues when checking in and out. Fuksija House is an exceptional place. It has a unique character to it, based on the inviting decor. Very spacious (high ceilings), modern, clean and positioned right in the centre of Daugavpils. It has a well equipped kitchen - lounge area in case one needs to cook. The building is in the quiet yard away from too busy streets, 5 min walk to a new gym in the shopping center and a main promenade with cafes, restaurant. All the above provided us with a quality rest and we were chilled out and happy with our stay in Daugavpils.

I can't think of any negatives. I would definitely stay in Fuksija House in Daugavpils again. I would recommend it to people exploring the area.
