"Wouldn’t return to this area of campobasso or this property."

Parking is advertised and truthfully you’re on your own with looking for parking in this city which is busy. Property wasn’t clean at all and left minimal items to make this a comfortable stay.

The owner was very obliging, and adapted himself to our delayed arrival. The flat was beautiful, and we were very comfortable, and environment / sustainability conscious. It was really a very good stay.

Negatives? Not many: the owner could have been quicker to alert us to the water in Campobasso being cut off; and did not alert us to the location of the hot-water switch, which we inadvertently turned off. Also, if you go by car, note that parking is a bit of a struggle of all against all (although the owner gave us good tips), and you may spend some time circling the local area.

"Good base for exploring Campobasso and Molise"

The apartment is well maintained. it was squeaky clean. Beds are comfortable. The location looks a bit shabby upon first arrival, but is is nicely centrally located, with the city’s main square and centro storico at a few minutes walk and nice restaurants within walking distance. Parking is in front and free if you’re lucky, otherwise around the corner at low cost. The host has thought of many details eg emergency and tourist info is provided, and breakfast is included, in a nice bar at 2 minutes walk; also he made himself available for check-in and when we had questions.

As noted in previous reviews, the bathroom (especially shower) is very narrow. Also worth noting is that there are 47 steps to reach the apartment, and no elevator. The host was kind enough to help us with our luggage.
