Giannis Pool Villas in Kastelos

Yannis est un hôte très accueillant et très gentil. Il est très réactif et attentif à nos besoins. Il est très facilement joignable. Nous avons apprécié d’avoir de l’eau fraîche dans le frigo ainsi que des fruits à notre arrivée. L’environnement est calme avec une vue sur la montagne et la mer. La terrasse est très agréable La taverne de Maria juste à côté est extra pour se restaurer le soir. Merci beaucoup à Yannis pour son accueil et son hospitalité.

It was a great stay. We had a spaceful and clean apartment with large patio. Well equipped (kitchen stuff, washing machine, iron, AC, fan, etc.). There's a small swimming pool with fabolous view of the mountains (pool is common for few other apartments but it was not so many visitors during our stay so it was almoust like private :)). Very kind and helpful owner, reponding quickly. We got pack of water and some fruits as a welcome gift. Area is great - quiet, small village, a minute walk to Taverna Maria - fantastic spot with local food. 10-15 min drive to the beach and supermarket, bars. Also very close to lake Kourdas with turles and where you can have a nice bath if you are tired of salty water :) We enjoyed this place very much.

Everything was ok, the only thing which could be improved is the internet speed but I think this is more due to the signal in the area. But it was ok to make basic formalities (checking emails, reading about the attractions and nearby places, booking tickets, etc.) nothing more is needed if you are staying in such peaceful place.

Очень уютная и чистая квартира с двумя спальнями, есть все необходимое для проживания, оборудованная кухня, на всех окнах и дверях противомоскитные сетки, 3 кондиционера, чистый бассейн, своя парковка. Если вы хотите насладиться тишиной и атмосферой греческой деревушки- в 10 минутах езды на машине от моря и цивилизации - определено рекомендую.

Очень плохой Wi Fi

Nous sommes arrivés en retard mais Yanis nous attendait pour nous donner les clés et nous accueillir. L'accueil a été très cordial et nous avons été mis à l'aise tout de suite. Une bouteille d'eau fraîche et des fruits nous attendaient à l'arrivée. La vue de la terrasse est superbe et le coucher de soleil inoubliable. L'appartement est grand et convient bien à une famille de 5 personnes. Le tout est climatisé, ce qui est très agréable en été. Il y a deux terrasses avec suffisamment de transat. la piscine est partagée avec un autre appartement mais ça ne pose aucun soucis. A 50m, il y a un petit resto typique et excellent! Pratique pour les repas. Il faut absolument une voiture pour y arriver car Kastellos est un peu un village perdu dans les montagne avec les avantages (calme) et les inconvénients (route pour y arriver).

Kastellos est un petit village situé dans les hauteurs. À 10 minutes de Gerani où vous trouverez tous les magasins nécessaires pour les emplettes, et des plages bien évidemment. Il y a également un centre de plongée, le Big Blue Diving qui vous trouve de belles plongées, très bonne équipe de pro dans une super ambiance. L’endroit est idéal pour rayonner sur la zone ouest de la Crête 30 min de Rethymno, 50 de Chania 1h30 des gorges de Samaria, lagon de Balos et plage d’Elafonissi. 1h30 également de Héraklion et Knossos, on ne boude pas son plaisir! La Taverne de Maria à Kastellos saura vous régaler de bons petits plats traditionnels en soirée avec une réelle bonté et joie de vivre digne de l’accueil des Crétois. Que du bonheur. À 10 minutes également se situent le lac de Kournas et Argiroupoli à voir absolument. Giannis nous a offert un superbe appartement avec piscine au calme. La climatisation a été bénéfique lors de notre séjour car la température avait bien monté les 36 degrés, et puis un petit rafraîchissement dans la piscine fut de bonne augure.. Giannis est un hôte merveilleux, prévenant et super gentil. Il nous a donné de bons conseils et pleins d’indications dans la région. Thank you so much Giannis 👍 . Je note cet endroit dans mes destinations à revenir.

Aucun point négatif ne s’est pointé durant nos 2 semaines de bonheur..😁

Appartement spacieux propre

Nice clan apartment feel like at home,big balcony, plenty space for car parking, very quit area, owner very helpful we got free present at the lake with water basicles and small present 🎁 what is very nice, small and clean pool beside apartment .

The villa was unique. It was on the mountain top in a small lovely village. There was plenty of outdoor space with large terrace as well as a lovely pool. The views were amazing with sea and mountain views. Villa has all the necessary amenities provided for a comfortable stay and was very clean. Giannis the host was very helpful and always very responsive with the messages. He even left some wonderful welcome stuff. Village has a small Taverna called Maria's Taverna serving authentic cretan food. A must visit when staying there. Would highly recommend a stay at the villa for a stay away from the crowds yet close enough driving distance to the beach and the main tourist areas. Would love to go back.
