The Beach House Holiday Apartments

The keys were easy to get to and the numbers for both the car access gate and pedestrian access gate were provide by email prior to the stay. Great if you come by car as the carpark is pretty secure and parking is a premium in Eastbourne. The location to town could not be better.

The code supplied for the bin was incorrect. 0206 was on the information sheet, but the code was 2006. The cleanliness of the oven, there was a patch of oil/grease in the grill tray and smoked when I pre-heated the oven.

The central location and access to amenities is first class. Parking (for those who require it). Key locations and gated security all excellent. The Flat is well furnished with comfortable clean beds and kitchen. Lots of places to hang clothes, relax and watch tv. Internet was fast and reliable. The kitchen is very well fitted out with nice crockery, ample cutlery and utensils. The Nespresso Machine a real bonus for which we purchased our favourite coffee pods. Overall, “Pebbles” is an excellent., well appointed, cosy place to stay in central Eastbourne.

The flat was very hot on the nights that we stayed. The one small fan was deployed in the front larger bedroom as the road outside was too noisy to be able to leave it open. A lot of noice from rowdy nearby venues. Please note that, when shut, the excellently glazed windows cut a lot of the noise out. Maybe a n extra couple of fans for the hottest weather may be of benefit. On arrival we found a pair of underpants on the rack behind the door. (Photo 1). The Toilet was not clean (Photo 2). The toilet brush was unusable (Photo 3). I purchased a new one and some bleach with which to clean the toilet. (Photo 4). The advice for using the bins when disposing of rubbish was not clear so we did our best but all recycling bins were full you overflowing. We discovered a discarded rain Mack in a bin behind the sofa. But we left it there. Finally to enjoy the Nespresso machine we purchased two small coffee cups for our morning espressos which we left for others to use.

The location of the accommodation. Not far from amenities and seafront. The apartment was spacious and had all you needed. The beds were comfortable. Would stay here again.

Property was ideal - very comfortable, well equipped & in an excellent location.

Crockery, cutlery & oven needs a deep clean. Some door’s really creak & bathroom door handle needs looking at as it’s hard to open

Easy location to find from train station. Convenient to a choice of restaurants.

Beautiful decorating with a beach theme. However, sometimes less is more. Found difficult to find places for our things (suitcases, etc.)
