3BDR HOUSE - Perfect location in El Médano

The apartment construction is very nice, the kitchen with induction stove is new and very nice as well. We also liked the location.

Even though the apartment is very nice (the build, the location, etc), its maintenance and that of the things inside it was far from the optimal when we were there. It really seemed like the owner doesn't care about it or about the people staying there and things are just decaying. A couple of examples: a bedroom's door touches the floor making it difficult and very noisy to open/close (yes, not good when a baby or a kid have to sleep there); the two blinds of that same room had the cord broken; there were 3 pans, one with the teflon worn out and falling, another one with quite some scratches, and only one usable... and no lids for the pans; we had to clean and charge the vacuum cleaner to be able to use it. I can make a long list with things that were broken, half-broken, missing, or just not as they should be, if anyone is interested (or upload some pictures if that'd help). The location was noisy. In general, El Médano is noisy -as it is in the path of the planes departing of the airport Tenerife south, we knew this-, but also there were 3 active construction sites close by the apartment (these were not short-lived construction sites, all of them were constructing new buildings). And nothing was stated in the advertisement. It is standard to add a short temporary sentence into your ad when construction site starts close by your apartment. We also didn't like that when we complained, it was close to the end of our stay, we listed a couple of the problems with the apartment and made clear that there were many more problems of all kind. However, the person in charge of the apartment, quickly addressed some minor complain (although we explicitly told him to wait until we were gone) and bought us some snacks and wine as a gift, but did not ask anything about all the things that are not right with the apartment. They really seemed not to have any will to know how to improve the situation, they seemed to just want that we don't speak up?

This is an amazing house, exactly as the photos stated. Tom was very kind, thorough and very easy to contact, with very good explanations of all the facilities of the building. The communal pool was mostly empty and the balconies were secluded and private. The bed was really comfy and there was plenty of storage room with lots of coat hangers. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and the coffee machine was an added bonus! Would definitely come here again with friends/family.

We were just 2 people and almost ran out of hot water in the shower a couple of times. The WiFi was really fast but only worked in the downstairs floor, the signal higher up would require a booster but this was totally fine for us.

Our stay was just great! As the above reviews comment, our host Tom was amazing. He gave us great tips on where to go for fun activities, and was super responsive on whatsapp. Kids liked the pool; town is highly walkable with multiple kinds of beaches (swimming, windsurfing, kitesurfing, general family sandcastling) within 10 min walk. No AC as noted above, but generally sea breeze was quite cool so it wasnt a particularly big issue. Don't miss the airbnb booklet in the main room - lot of good pointers!

None to mention - airplanes overhead, but that is par for the course.

The house was lovely, very clean and well furnished. There was plenty of space for all of us. There is only one shower but there was plenty of hot water so no issue there. The pool was a little chilly but was clean and nice to swim in once you got used to the temperature. The property is well located for the local supermarket and for the town centre for plenty of bars and restaurants.

Not a problem for us but there is a school opposite that is a little noisy at play time.

Really well equipped kitchen, clean bedrooms, new modern bathroom.

There is only one bathroom with shower for 3 bedrooms, but it was ok for our team:)

Wonderful find, a property with all the facilities needed, clean and in good working order. New kitchen and bathrooms with all that you need. Great location and walking distance from nearby beaches and restaurants. Garage is a great luxury, getting out of the car and straight inside no need to look for parking.

The furniture is a little dated in the house and around pool area. The whole place could do with a fresh layer of paint. The bed was very uncomfortable. The house is on the flight path as planes take off sadly, the school nearby and close proximity to other houses means get ready for noise between 5am and 1am.
