1 bed river apartment on the docks

The whole apartment is beautiful.

Great location ! Right by the docks . River Severn runs behind the house . First impressions were good and as expected . Felt spacious with open plan living room/kitchen area . Local shops, restaurants and pubs within a 5 minutes walk . Nicely tucked away behind the docks.

Unfortunately a burglary took place at the antiques shop next door which is attached to accommodation which made me feel unsafe . Although that is out of the owners hand .. it doesn’t disguise the fact I wasn’t able to secure the back doors at 1am and had to stay awake all night .. police officers , sniffer dog , shouting , banging and drilling locks . Told burglars could be on the roof and climb down the back of property which was frightening . Also, don’t expect any reply’s from owner during your stay apart from when you pay and instructions are sent . All other messages were ignored until an escalation took place due to the inconvenience and issues with securing apartment. Unfortunately i wouldn’t go back here again . I think I was unlucky with what happened but overall just a few simple things like upgrading locks and making sure the basics work , clean worktops and not half a pint of milk left over in fridge from previous occupiers . Otherwise it would have been a very pleasant stay . Jam of some sort on the kitchen worktop and crumbs upon arrival . WiFi was horrendous and kept cutting out. No signal 75% of time . 1 toilet roll for 3 nights with 2 people. Bed is like sleeping on concrete . Pillows way too hard. Tv remote is useless. Had to keep turning TV on and off in evening to reset it as would pause. The fact that upon closer inspection i didn’t feel very secure . Front door of house feels like anyone could push it open from Main Street . The actual apartment door felt a bit dodgy closing and the right door to balcony didn’t lock all weekend until I had to force it by lifting door and using weight of my body to lock it when checking out incase someone broke in and I was held accountable .

Location is great. Right next to the river and the dock area. Though a little noisy next to a road.

I felt the cleanliness was not the best. I felt like the apartment needed a deep clean. The bedroom light was so dusty a pervious guest wrote in the dust and it was still there. Lots of half used bottles left, milk left in the fridge. I am assuming from other guests. All different kinds of towels in the apartment. None matched and stuffed in a cabinet. The apartment was decorated nice, but it needs some special touches and better cleaning.

Location was great, a very modern and comfortable little flat. It was nice to look out the window and see the river

Pillows so hard, noise from upstairs and the road. Shower pressure wasn't the best and it soaked pretty much the whole floor
