Very nice, cozy apartment, centrally located in Leeuwarden. It had everything we wanted. I never met the host but we communicated via chat and she was very helpful and friendly.

No complaints really but if you have trouble walking stairs this is not the place for you. If you arrive by car be aware that you can not park in the area, if you are not a citizen of Leeuwarden. There is a parking garage within walking distance (by a large Jumbo grocery store) and the fees are very reasonable (max 4 EUR per day).

The apartment was easy to get to from the train station, and the keys were in a lockbox waiting when I get there. Inside there was ample room spread over 3 floors - the kitchen was large with table and chairs for eating meals and everything necessary to prepare meals - fridge, microwave, stovetop, kettle, lots of cutlery and dishes and cleaning materials. Upstairs was the living room and washroom. The washroom was fairly large, with a excellent shower and lots of space. There was also a washing machine that worked great. The living room was comfortable with a large tv with plenty of options to watch. Downstairs was the bedroom - large, comfortable bed with plenty of lights for reading. All-in-all an excellent place to explore Leeuwarden and the region.

Most of the information required for the apartment was provided through an app; for those of us of a certain vintage making a paper copy available would be helpful but other than that no problems what-so-ever.

Great location. I had a problem with the shower drainage, but the owner fixed it the same day.

The bedroom in the basement smells a little musty. There is a bar two doors down, so it's noisy outside until midnight.

Nice apartment, clean and comfortable.

The location. Extremely noizy till early morning hours. A pub two houses from apartment. Inbetween student housing. Road next to apartment popular 'walk-through' for drunk students.

Very roomy apartment and great location. Host was very responsive to questions. It's right on the street so be prepared for a little noise but we thought that was part of the charm.

There was old food in the fridge that I think was forgotten about and smelled like onions. But once it was tossed out the smell went away.
