La vue est exceptionnelle depuis la salle de repas via le petit balcon, Etna et bord de mer. Tout à se servir dans ce coquet appartement. Une place de parking privé facilite énormément la vie.

Un peu compliqué pour accéder jusqu'à l'appartement par les petites rues sinueuses...on pense à la caution de la voiture de location. Un petit plus serait de laisser du café à disposition car on ne sait pas quelle dosette amener pour la machine.

1. The view of Etna and the sea was incredible 2. The private parking behind a RAMP and our own marked parking spot was really good and a must in this village 3. The walking path to Taormina is only a few meters away (it's not as easy as we expected though) We had no idea when we booked this place that this is actually what people who stay in Taormina go to visit - it is very very very up high, the views are amazing, there are a couple good restaurants, not expensive, and a castle on top. The location is extra. On Sunday at 12:12 we even heard Etna erupting, it was truly majestic. Taormina is also wonderful, we probably never would have visited it by car (nowhere to park) but the walking path is lovely - just keep in mind you will have to get back up! :D

The air in this apartment was pretty stuffy, humid, oppressive, maybe it's just because we visited in april and there were not many guests before us, but there was also a bad smell in general and quite a lot of mold in the living areas. We tried to fix it by using the AC or opening the windows but if we went out for a day and came back, it would just be the same. The duvet for the bed was also without a cover and it was filled with feathers which were falling out, would not recommend for people with allergies. Otherwise the location was worth it. There were some carabinieri shining a flashlight on our balcony at 1 in the morning on our last night, which was pretty strange, but I guess they were just looking out because this is kinda the last apartment in the village.
